One thing that has been true with me is that the last few quality women I have dated came to me out of nowhere when I wasn't trying. It wasn't me approaching women at bars or on dating apps, it was through randomly meeting them through mutual friends when I was not expecting anything. For whatever reason it keeps happening that way to me, which sort of falls in line with what you said. I have always sort of focused on myself first, and the universe has a funny way of taking control after.
