It honestly could be either one. Us men seems to sometime mistake nice gesture as flirting but regardless, it is a good sign. The fact that she initiated a hang out must mean she wants you in her life one way or another.

You can take the hangout as the stepping block to build interest. Just remember to not think too much and just have fun with her. This could be her testing the water to see how you guys match each other energy. If she had fun with you, then maybe she will develop more feelings for you. Unlike men, women might take a little warming up before they develop feelings.

Could be generic, hard to tell. But make your intentions clear. The day before or the day of, ask her if she is still ready for the coffee date. That way she knows you think of it as a date and not a couple of friends hanging out, and if she has any objections she can make it clear.

Or you could just straight ask her if she thinks of this as a date. Asking her directly will be embarrassing if she says no, but you just gotta handle it with poise.

probably she herself doesnt know. if you are used to imagine your future with a girl, wedding, kids and all, after she says hello to you it may be difficult to understand but right now you have a chance to meet her and that's all. unless she is already in another relationship, it can go both ways most likely.
