Hey, my first time posting on here so bear with me. I’m a 23 year old guy who’s recently come out of a year long relationship and am trying to get back into dating. My ex was (in my opinion) very good looking and I’ve had dates over the years with good looking women (that went well and lead to other dates or the bedroom)

My problem lies with the fact that I don’t get a great deal of matches/responses on the dating apps, and I’m getting it into my head that I’m unattractive and that’s the reason why. Women I do match with will say I’m good looking, and I understand you can’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s still a confidence knocker when you get cast aside by so many. My friends say I may simply rely to heavily on apps, but I work 5 days a week and my friends are often busy so I don’t get out enough for face-to-face interaction.

It’s gotten to the point now where I have next to no confidence in person when I’m out as I’m thinking “there’s no point talking to this girl as she won’t want me anyway”. Long story short, I need some advice on overcoming the negative mindset, and was wondering if anyone had similar situations and overcome them? Because only advice I’ve had from friends is to chill out, but my problem is that I can’t because I’m one of these people who hates being single. So yeah, just any advice people may have could really help right now
