Depends how much are you comfortable with yourself and the now

I feel the exact same way. I personally feel like it depends on the situation. Approaches at stores and shit are worse but if I'm not at work, or the bar, I'm at home. It also depends on if I can come up with anything good to say to start a conversation along with what the girl is doing.

I almost never run out of things to talk about with the ladies. I find something specific and sincere to complement her on, talk about what I’ve been doing recently, places I’ve been, my friends, what I’ve eaten. Once I’ve got her interest I can start asking her questions to find out more about her. The big five topics are food, fashion, entertainment, travel and relationships. Women enjoy having endless conversations about these.
There are other parts of my game that need improvement - not approaching enough, not conveying sexual intent strongly or soon enough, improving my voice. But this happens to be a strong area for me.

Classic response from a woman who has no idea how difficult the dating scene is for guys. Guess what, it is a competition for us because women only want to sleep with the top 10% of men. Trust me, we would LOVE for it to not be a competition and be able to freely pick and choose our partners like women can.

A lot to unpack here but let me give it a shot. Your first mistake is comparing humans to ants, though there may be some vague similarities with the human social hierarchy. I'm not blackpilled so I don't believe it's impossible for men to improve and get into that top 10%, it's not all genetics. This subreddit is largely focused on sexual strategy and how people can improve themselves when it comes to dating. The tips being discussed here have worked for many.
Believe it or not, sex is one of the main drivers and motivators for humans. Almost everything we do is in pursuit of sex. It's why we wear nice clothes, get stylish haircuts, even why we want career success and a high social status in most cases. Most of the great accomplishments in the world would never have been achieved without sex drive. So to suggest that seeking sex is "unproductive" is literally denying the biological purpose of your own existence. You sound very repressed.
You then, for some reason, assume that I want to have children. Contraception exists these days and it's possible to have casual sex without either party wanting children, so I don't see how me being a capable father or not comes into this discussion. Even if I'm not a capable father (which you assumed from one reddit post, apparently) you still haven't proved anything.
your ideal partner is more likely to come into your life you simply focus on yourself and not on finding her in the first place
I just don't agree with this and in my experience and many others here, this is simply not the case. I'm not going to be that guy to ask for evidence for your claim because studies on this topic are sparse, but if you don't focus on improving your game and SMV as a man (sexual market value), you are very very unlikely to notice any difference in how women act around you. Focusing on yourself is kind of vague and doesn't mean much, what specifically are you suggesting to focus on? If I want to get good at playing the piano should I just not focus on playing the piano, or does this backwards logic only apply to attracting women?
if you think you're an eligible bachelor and the women aren't coming around, then you're not an eligible bachelor
This is a defeatist mentality. So men who are unattractive should just give up on trying to ever find sexual partner(s), that's what you're suggesting. What next, concentration camps? Let's just gas all the people who aren't "eligible". How dare they work on themselves and try to improve at something. /s
the reason you struggle so hard to get women is because you are insecure about your ability to get women. if you weren't insecure, then you would not be pursuing them
Why must every goal, in your opinion, be driven by some sort of insecurity? What if I'm just inspired to work on this particular aspect of myself, to be the best that I possibly can and prove people like you wrong?
by being a valuable human being
How do you define the value of a human being? Aren't all human beings valuable? Or are you discriminating them based on their interests and habits, and trying to claim people like me aren't valuable because we pursue women?

You are such a helpful individual. I really think you should become a therapist.

This is natural for people like myself who are divided between extroversion and introversion. You are not legally required to be a 24/7 rockstar. So, give yourself permission to not be on all the time.

Totally. I can’t flirt when I’m depressed, and I can’t stop being depressed until I’m back on the horse. A viscous cycle. And I don’t like faking it.
