The discouragement isn't stemming from rejection as such, more that every girl I've gotten invested in lately has had some hidden catch or something unforeseen come up; one girl turned out to be a religious nutcase, one decided to get awful tattoos on her neck and hands that made me lose attraction to her, ones brother passed away, one moved cities abruptly, one was too stressed with their new job etc so for one reason or another it hasn't worked. I know, that's life.
But I'm finding myself barely able to muster the energy to invest in meeting anyone else at the moment.
Should I just dial it back and focus on other things in life?
I don't want to make women a priority but last time I stopped focusing on them I didn't have a date for 2 years - they don't just come knocking on your door.
What do you guys think?
