Find out if there are any comedians in town. See if she wants to go to an art walk or museum. Botanic gardens. Take a dance class or a yoga class. Go on an hike. Something to do that keeps the conversation flowing.

It really depends on where/how I meet them.

If I’m on Tinder, beer/coffee is usually best because you really don’t know much about them.

If it’s someone I met at a bar and hit it off pretty well, I tend to get ice cream at Culver’s with them because I like ice cream and nothing else is open near me haha

If it’s someone I’ve known/dated for a while, a music festival or quick trip to another state/city have been good.

It’s important for the activity length to correlate with how long you’ve known the person. If you just met them, coffee is great - they can pay usually and it gives yourself an easy out if things go south. If you’ve known them a while and trust them a little, then hanging out for hours/days becomes an option.
