They have probably seen it by now. You can call or not. No one cares. They will fix it. You could probably sue them since its a guard to protect you from hitting it but you fell into it like an idiot lol.

Did you go to the doctor? How the hell are people on the internet supposed to know if it will scar? Looks like it might get infected...but I'm not a doctor.

As far as telling the gym, up to you. I think you're making way too big of a deal about a broken piece of wood. 99% someone else has reported it by now.

Don't fucking call them. They expect this shit to happen; as a matter of fact, it was probably broken before you came along and knocked it off.

If you do call, you may get some officious dildo that wants to show off in front of the chick at the front desk and start trying to bully you. Nothing good will come from it.
