I (22, f) developed an interest in an old schoolmate from Uni. Problem is, we never talked much other than when we interacted through mutual friends so I don't even know him that well. Didn't even have his number. I'm always for putting yourself out there (even though it's never worked for me, lol), so I reached out through Facebook. He was pretty responsive but it's been pretty slow. So I decided to just come clean and tell him I wanted his number. He hasn't responded yet (it's showing delivered, not seen) and I'm scared that I've f-ed things up like my previous ventures. Full disclosure: I dont like being pursued so I've decided that if I want a relationship then I should be prepared to put myself out there. My friends think this is what I'm doing wrong. Any advice? Or am I just wasting my time?
