Just say hello and make a genuine compliment about clothing, accessories etc… and see where it goes from there.

For all we know she could already have a boyfriend and this post would just be pointless but for you sake hopefully she is single.

What I normally do in situations like this when walking next to someone is bring up something they are wearing that sounds like a honest question/conversation starter. Ex. If she is wearing a jacket in the summer you could just say “ your not hot?” And then after that you should have maybe a topic or two since the conversation started and escalate it.

Also if you just tap her on the shoulder and say she is pretty I promise it would be such a positive noting goes wrong when that happens you just have to have some things to say after like her name, job, etc.
