Texting may not seem like much to some people, but it is in my opinion a fairly powerful tool. The power dynamic you create while texting translates to everything else. This becomes important in relationships. And sometimes texting is the only way to maintain contact.
The goal of this miniguide is to help one maintain a favorable power disbalance (the Golden Rule) throughout the relationship. This is what has worked for me in the past and may not work for everybody. Regardless, it represents almost everything I know about texting and calling.
I prefer texting to calls, which probably puts me in the minority. Low exposition. Calls are more needy. You want her to feel comfortable to do stuff. She can choose when, what, why. And you can calibrate better. Because you are gauging her reactions at your leisure.
In no particular order:
1) Never reply immediately
Responding right away creates an impression of availability. This negates tension. Wait 20 minutes or several hours or one day, just make sure you are being less prompt than her.
2) Never message last
Never let your message be the last one. Except when replying to her messages. This basically means that her message should always be the last one in your chat history.
3) Never delete messages
This demonstrates insecurity. Expect it to be brought up. Happened to me a few times and you may not always get questioned, but avoid it.
4) Less is more
Type very few words at a time. The less the better. Be vague. A simple "OK" can do wonders. You want girls typing way more than you.
5) Fake typos
This is a neat little trick. Basically, I never correct typos as I type. Hard to explain, but it gives away an impression of value and being busy.
6) Logistics only
As it is well known, use texting mainly for logistics. As your relationship advances, you will of course use it for other things as well. Or if you find yourself in a long distance relationship. But only logistics early.
7) No emojis
Excitement, humor and generally high exposition can be attraction killers. I have seen this work for some guys, but these were usually very gifted people when it comes to humor.
8) React but never double initiate
Reply to her messages. Answer her calls. But never contact her first twice in a row.
9) Never ask questions
Never ask questions. If you have to, do not use question marks. This may seem trivial, but it works. Never ask her what she is doing.
10) Be assertive and commanding
It is not a question, it is an announcement. There is a huge metaphysical difference between "You wanna come downtown?" and "Come downtown" or "I'm downtown". Technically, you cannot get rejected this way in a classical sense.
11) "Seen"
Let her see that you saw her message, but don't reply. This again creates an image of busyness.
12) Not "Seen"
Prepare your reply in advance, without letting her see that you saw her message. This gives you some leeway.
13) Poke her when she is inactive
She was last seen on WhatsApp minutes ago. Don't poke. Wait until 30 minutes have passed or a few hours. This ensures you have her undivided attention and won't get drown out in noise
14) Exit after every message
You are not going to watch her type every message. You are a busy, high value person.
15) New message while she is typing
Hard to explain why this works, but you basically want to stimulate her into typing more. Remember, the idea is to type less than her. Works better with talky girls.
16) Not too often, not too rarely
Don't message her too often or you will kill the attraction. Don't message her too infrequently or the attraction will evaporate. The former is probably worse than the latter, but I suggest a middle ground. Basically do the same as you would with meetups. Push-pull, etc.
17) When you poke make it neutral
When you message her, send her a funny clip or a curiosity. Like you would to a friend or regular person. It makes you seem less needy and more like an indifferent person.
18) The 72-hour rule
This is the cutoff period in my experience. Usually it takes me around 3 days to feel that we are growing apart, assuming no one made a move. Typically this is when I poke.
19) Sexting
Write horny stuff, organize video sessions where you both masturbate. Tell her to show you her pussy. Show her your dick. Obviously make sure you have her consent. Wait a few months or until she gets comfortable with you in a relationship. Don't be an idiot.
20) Anti-ghosting
Many women have a fear of ghosting. Typically, after each critical event (having sex after a while, coming back from a group vacation, etc.) I contact her first. Poke her right after, then follow up with a drought. It translates to "I am here, I want this relationship. But I don't absolutely need you." Which is a powerful mindset to have.
21) Always hang up first
During calls be the first to wrap it up. Say "I got to go" or similar.
22) Let it ring
Just let your phone ring a few times before picking it up. Waiting on the phone is no different from waiting for someone on the street. By waiting she is putting power into your hands.
Human relations are metaphysics. Seduction is metaphysics. As such, texting is too. It may seem like I am taking this too far, but trust me, every little bit helps. I think through every message. Every single message. No matter how insignificant or trivial it may seem. Punctuation, grammar, word sequence, everything. Keep it small and vague. You do not respond right away anyway, so you have plenty of time. Every little thing echoes, trust me.
EDIT: This is intended for relationships, not pickups. For pickups use texting for logistics only, as we all know. Lastly, if a girl does not like you, nothing of this applies anyway. That goes without saying.
