Hi all,

Wanted to share my experience at the bar tonight. A few friends and I took the train into the city where my friend lives to hit one of the bars. We bought some booze at the liquor store then went to his place to drink a bit. Just had a few drinks worth of liquor so that I was feeling good but not stupid drunk. Walked to the bar and picked up my jack and coke that I would nurse throughout the night.

I think what really helped me was that my main goal was just to have a good time with my boys, not anxiously looking for women to talk to. Danced and sung a bit, then two girls approached me and my bud. One girl leaned on my friend while the other chatted me up. She had to leave shortly after and I wasn't sure what I was feeling so I followed her insta. She later dmed me but I was still busy having fun.

Night went on and I had more fun with the lads. Eventually saw a really attractive girl dancing with her friends and I wanted to approach her. Part of me was unsure but it felt like the other part of me was r/seduction saying "you aren't leaving this bar until you approach". So I did. After some dancing song ended I positioned myself near her and the time was right when her friend bumped into me and she apologized for her. I smiled and started chatting and flirting. It was hard for her to hear me so eventually she just handed me her phone and opened up "new contact". Texted myself a funny message through her phone and went back to my buds. She and her friends stayed relatively close and I hugged her when I was leaving. Going to text her tomorrow at some point after I wake up.

Few things I'm glad I did:

-Made the goal of the night to have fun, rather than only being satisfied if I talked to a million women

-Wore hi-fi earplugs. Basically invisible and it helped me to hear everything. Plus it really helps to protect ears from the loud ass bar speakers. Don't want to get tinnitus.
