The first quarantine started a few weeks before my 21st so I never got to go to any bars that weren't basically sit down restaurants. Finally got to go out tonight for my first legit bar experience. Waited on line for 30 mins, place was jam packed just like I was hoping. No shot I was going to be able to get a drink so I went with my friends to the dance floor.

Danced with my buds for a bit and started to look around to check out the scene. In crazy loud places like this, I just like to look for eye contact and see if I get any looks. I saw this one really hot blonde girl staring at me so I looked and smiled. Went up to her and started chatting really close. Basically talking directly into her ear and she was showing lots of interest. Until...she asked how old I was. I smiled and asked her to guess, but I just couldn't hear what she said. I basically relayed to her that I was 22 and she was like "ooo sorry, you're a baby" and just turned away. The kicker? She was 23- just one year older than me. I was confused but I thought it was funny- I'm almost two feet taller than this girl and she's worried about how old I am. Anyway, had a fun rest of the night and I'm looking forward to getting back to it soon.

I think that next time I'm going to probably

A.) Not talk about my age

B.) Bring some HiFi earplugs. Place was painfully loud and my ears are ringing. Really don't want to get tinnitus.
