I applied for a job as a bouncer at a college bar. Is it true that bouncers can get laid a lot? I'm tall about 6'4. Any truth to this?

You do hear about this stuff all the time, but i'm not sure how true it is.

I'm also not sure how much location and culture plays a role

For example, it seems in the US, being a barman is some sort of high status job

Here In the UK, it's kind of the opposite (I had tonnes of friends get jobs at cocktail bars and stuff thinking it would get them laid becuase they'd been reading posts from American dudes lol. Didn't translate over here)

Similar with a bouncer I think - again, I think that's because in the US it seems bouncers are more selective about who can come in and stuff and have more power in general, whereas in the UK, it doesn't seem to matter. Hot girls don't get to jump the line for example lol - We don't usually have table service. So here bouncers are just thought of as annoying meatheads who mess up our nights out lol

And lastly, in my experience, if a bouncer is getting laid a tonne, he'd also get laid a tonne if he worked an office job or soemthing. IN other words, he's just a handsome/attractive guy

And if a guy isn't hot, getting a job as a bouncer or a barman isn't gonna suddenly get girls lusting after him

End of the day, you are still you. Some bouncers will get laid a tonne, some will never get a sniff. But if girls find you attractive, obviously you now have access too a lot of hot teenage girls, so that's good (edit: in fact, maybe 21 if you're in the US? It's 18 here)
