Be mindful not to become one of those people who only chooses to acknowledge the more palatable parts of TRP. Some decide that it's more socially acceptable to lift weights than to demand sex from your girlfriend at the risk of walking out. Everything in TRP revolves around reality, cold and harsh as it is.

Use whatever works for you, but don't fall into the trap of believing that the harsher stuff isn't true or effective.

IMO TRP is divided into three groups:

The "I've been hurt by this bitch and I don't want it to be like that anymore"-group. Can sound bitter, some probably are, but they are most of all looking for others in a similar situation to bitch a little and get out of the denial and anger-phases.

The "I want to take better control of my life and I need to better understand the dynamics of the battle of the sexes amongst it"-group. These guys actually talk less derogatory about females and focus more on self-improvement. They don't sound bitter and they actually bring a lot of good advice to the boards IMO.

and finally the "I am an Alpha (who wants to fuck bitches)"-group. They can come off as less then average intelligent, sometimes agressive and competition-driven people whos main focus is on social status and asserting their dominance. A little too much of de-humanizing and derogatory group speak for me, in those typical posts.

It's good to have something to counter-balance things that are skewed in your life and provide insight, but be careful not to become something ugly in the process. TRP is accused of portraying and conveying extreme messages and sometimes with good reason.

I think almost everyone starts out in the bitter group. I know I was when I first got here, now I'm in the bettering myself group.

Its almost comical how if you apply the ideas correctly, you will find yourself turning down women. Not the other way around.

Yeah, I agree. Too bad the quality improvement posts are a little too far apart and tend to skip some of the important details. Like how important it is to become happy with your life and have an interesting life without explaining how to achieve this in detail.

But, some of the posters in the improvement group are really good coaches with sound advice.

well I think everyone will be a bit bitter once they swallow TRP, but as time goes on TRP mentality will settle in and alpha traits will start to develop, at least it was like that for me

I'm not referring to that. You can easily become aware of sexual dynamics without being a bitter person.

TRP in particular happens to have a high population of genuinely bitter men who have been rejected a lot. Plenty people here are also genuinely sexist and racist. Lots of things here are often flat-out incorrect. There are a lot more neutral sources for the crimson arts.
