Men process sound with only one side of our brain. Women process sounds with both right and left hemispheres. Which is why they are very sensory based, sound, touch etc. Voice is a sure fire way to keep someone's attention on you. I've been doing vocal excersizing for about two years now. Mainly because I do erotic roleplay audio and my 8-5 also requires a lot of speaking. So in learning to use my voice, talk in a tone or register I want for sustainable periods of times. I have noticed that women and men pay more attention when I use the right voice.

Edit. It's also important to note that our emotions dictate our voice. So we tend to speak higher or lower than our natural speaking voice. If you breath in then hum as you exhale for about ten seconds. Do that a few times then say something, see how different your voice is compared to when your talking in an excited tone.

Yes, it's like being in a TRANCE it's much intense especially if the connections is 100% there!!!
