I think there’s a difference between not seeking approval and being indifferent. Not seeking approval means you’re being your genuine self as opposed to putting on an act to impress women. Being indifferent says you don’t care about them and you’re not willing to put in the effort. You can put in effort without caring too much, but like you said it’s a fine line

Just be yourself and show some attention to her. You don’t want to always make her the center of your universe but you can’t just kick her to the curb. Can I ask what context you’re looking for? The situation changes specifics but the general idea remains pretty much the same

I am confined at the home for the past two weeks and the coming two weeks, so I decided to meet some girls online. In the first few texts, everything seems to go okay most of the time and I get good responses. However, when they give me a half answer or don't seem to put the effort in, I leave the conversation. Today I was wondering if I am applying the concepts I learned correctly or I was pushing it too far.

Be interesting, have good pics and have good convos then ask when they’re free for drinks. There’s no trick to it and being “exceptional” at online dating gets boring pretty quickly. You’ll get burnout. And every average looking girl is “exceptional” at online dating so a majority of girls on there now are burnt out as well. Keep at it but the larger focus should be meeting people IRL

Do steps that take things further between you and the girl
approach-> take her number-> date-> makeout ->foreplay ->sex etc.
Lead and demand she presents her best self to you.
Don't do things that would suggest that you pedestalise her only because she has a pussy:
-buy her shit, do her favours, unless she does such stuff to you
-shower her with compliments
-try too much to entertain her
-try to please her at the cost of your congruence
I am more concerned about what is between the number and date. I worry that if I am too distant or have too high of standards I might not get to the date stage.

If you are talking about a girl met in a real world, she will come to a date based on your initial interaction and whether she's attracted or not. Frankly it's rare that i did more than like 3 texts before a first date.
If you are talking about girls met online, get better photos.
