Just like the MeToo itself has been built to hide a toxic culture in the show business through hypocrisy.

I met/dated several hardcore feminists, of all the problems I’ve faced interacting with them, I never had the need to ask for consent.

I wouldn’t kiss anyone at your workplace. Even if the woman will not complain, your boss might fear that some other will. And nobody wants a lawsuit. Outside workplace I still wouldn’t kiss or even touch anyone without at least implicit consent (body language, atmosphere, place you are in).
