Hey all,

I get complimented on my dance moves frequently when I go out (I go to a small college so everyone knows each other and most of the parties are at local, familiar venues) and always enjoy myself. That being said, all this outcome independence stuff is a hard line for me to walk. I dance with girls and talk to them but I have a hard time closing with anyone. Girls come up to me to compliment but they usually leave soon after and I struggle to maintain a conversation

Am I just being a "dancing monkey," providing entertainment for everyone? How do you cross the line over to being the life of the party that someone wants to meet from being a background show on the dance floor?

TLDR; I have an awesome time on the dance floor but don't know how to progress farther.

Thanks!
