So yeah. Married 20+ years and ex moved out about six months ago. Struggling with that somewhat, but I'd followed /r/seduction years ago when our sex life was struggling and have been trying to incorporate what I learned since. Fitness is on point, able to converse with anyone about pretty much anything, and I dress well enough anyways.
Anyway, while still struggling to connect with a hot, younger woman, I have been dating a woman my age who I like a lot, but isn't objectively hot. And she is constantly fucking complimenting me, 'I don't see how any woman left you', 'you're the most amazing man I've ever met', texts me exactly 90 days after we met about how I make her feel and all this shit. Whatever. When I say 'what do you want to do', it's always 'whatever you want'.
It's annoying sometimes, like she doesn't feel like she's worthy of my attention. It's so fucking weird, I never got this vibe from my ex, we clicked and were soulmates for 18+ of our relationship, it was just two people who felt matched. And I sure as fuck never felt like I was on a pedestal, so this is a goddamn weird place to be, and while it's nice in a way, it can serve to make you realize, maybe she's right. Maybe I am too good for her. And with that things seem to be lining up internally a bit with some of the narrative of /r/seduction; if you don't think you are worth someones attention, they'll think the same goddamn thing.
Of course, if she was 120 lbs and ten years younger than me it probably wouldn't be bothering me that much, I could probably get past it, but yeah.
Anyways, food for thought.
