So I'm a junior in college and I went to a house party tonight. I've fought social anxiety for a few years and have made a lot of progress; tonight I was going out with a few friends and I was excited, pumped up to just have a good time. We arrived and I immediately started talking to my friend's friends, was having a generally good time. Admittedly, I have trouble approaching and did not attempt any approaches with random people. As the night went on, I saw my friend begin talking to a girl. Long story short, he went home with her, and I immediately became overcome with anger and jealously. This friend always got girls naturally, while I always attempt to and never succeed. Keep in mind this is one if my best friends, and I want to celebrate in his success. How can I stop these feelings of jealousy? Any criticism is encouraged.
