i would definitely ignore the "as friends" thing. seems like it's going well and she wanted to throw that out there like you said, as a shit test/ASD thing.

Not sure it's a shit test, more likely you've killed the attraction by texting her for a week, or didn't set up enough attraction to begin with.

May still be salvageable though, you should reply with something cocky/funny/ridiculous, like what silencegold suggested. If she brings up the "friend" thing on the date, just laugh at her like she's being ridiculous, which she is. Tease her about being from the 1800's and ask her if her father needs to accompany you when you meet suitors.
