Day 6.5: A story of success and subsequent failure.

This is not the next day of the challenge. It was the night of the sixth day, and though brief, I believe it warrants its own FR.

That night, I went to a party where I knew zero people. This is not something I enjoy, but once I was there, and saw a few very attractive lady-folk, I began to come to terms with it. I had every intention of starting Day 7’s assignment (I won’t tell you yet and save it for when I actually do it), but quickly got into a conversation with one girl, definite 6+, probably best in the room. It was a dinner party and I flirted with her as she got food, and she brought me and we sat down for a while as she ate, still flirting. I began to kino, touching her arm during an important point, pushing her jokingly when teasing her or when she was teasing me. We stood, went to dessert table, still joking. We took a picture together and I found out she was leaving on Wednesday, and only comes around once a year. A number close would be a waste… I knew what to do, kinda. Isolate, and then move in. it was clear enough she’d go for it. I asked her if she wanted to take a walk outside. She was amenable enough, and asked if I smoked. I said no, but just wanted to go out. She followed and then I let it break down. She asked why we were out there if I didn’t smoke. I said, I didn’t know, just felt like it, would you rather go back inside? She replied… “well, yea I guess.” And we did. And then it kinda wasn’t the same bc it was clear the moment had passed.

I’d love to get advice on how to not let that happen again, cuz it stings a bit.

Another question: she forgot my name earlier in the night. I don’t think it was an intentional shittest, but I didn’t know how to deal with it. I said, “Are you serious? Well you’re out of luck then. I’m just gonna creep on you on facebook and you won’t know about it.” She laughed, but it didn’t change the fact she still didn’t know my name. So eventually I told her. The night was a success socially, I had a great time talking to a lot of people, men and women, I would normally have not bothered with. And I met a great girl. Unfortunately, the story ends there. Tomorrow will bring Day 7.
