manliness beat me to it. neediness from the start.
"She told me she was sort of talking to someone" might have been a shit test. maybe you should have talked to the guy with her listening and said something along the lines of "hey, shes really into you but I'm going to hit on her for a while." He will probably walk away to do something else if he was able to let you take her number while still sitting around.
I wouldn't tolerate a girl texting on her phone while shes with me. I usually say "Get off your phone, i don't like that" you probably were letting her do it all day, she lost a lot of respect for you. If she doesn't stop say that you're leaving.
I think that most importantly during the date you are tolerating a lot of things that she is doing. "acting" to impress her, being the funny guy. she "kino"d you, that is when you suggest a place to fuck. this is not the time to "plan to make a move", just go for it. don't sit around in a car.

For the most part yeah but the guy was across the room looking at me, according to a friend of mine so I had no idea he was there. Also, i'm not sure about the get off your phone thing since everyone does that and it seems incredibly rude. And a place to fuck? I didn't even kiss her..

I guess i pictured it differently in my head, well you got the date anyways. which was a good job.
what is really rude is when girls think that a guy will wait around for her to finish texting. Don't take this.
Read up on Escalation
It helped me alot to get from sitting around to "let's go to my place" of course when the time is right.

Not a female, but if someone I just met said that sentence to me I'd probably tell them to fuck off. There's much smarter ways to get the point across without sounding like a control freak throwing a fit.
I actually say this without being rude. its a lot to do with the tone. i know over the keyboard these words sound harsh. but spoken in a "to be honest" sort of way, girls usually don't mind putting their phone away. and no i don't impose these rules on anyone else other then women I'm dating. Not on people i just met or guys either. and I may not use the exact words every time.
