I've been doing it lately as I am in a new state without any friends who care to go out of their comfort zone.

JUST DO IT. It is scary at first, but going out alone is the best because it almost forces you to be social or you stand there like an idiot by yourself.

I'm going out by myself tonight and I couldn't be more excited!

After a while of doing this myself, this has been my only preferred method. Don't let your friends be a ruse, because overall the outcome of your success will rely 95% on you and not from other people, after awhile you will be comfortable without your friends and perhaps you'll even make new ones and not only that but women make the best wingmen.

If you're out by yourself, do your homework learn about all the clubs in your area or bars the local scene find out about happy hours about ladies nights about certain other nights and specials, it will take a little bit of time but after awhile you will be in the "know"

and your friends won't be.

In my case Ive needed 5 times to make it rather comfortable. Just try and it will get much better.

It's all about expectations man.

The last time I went out alone, a friend oft mine was supposed to Tag along but then didn't. I went to a concert, thinking oft doing just that.

Then I met a really cool girl who was there on her own as well. I didn't expect anything and just wanted to have a good time. I ended up having loads of fun with the girl and going to various clubs that night, making out.

It can happen but it really doesn't have to. Just let it happen and have fun. Talk to guys as well. Be fun to be around, listen and observe.

It'll be great, once you have got some momentum going.
