Essential Reading

These are all good books but are not what I'd recommend learning from.

The Game is entertaining and somewhat educational for a noobie in terms of just expanding their reality and belief of what is possible.

Mystery Method is not what I'd advise any guy learning game to start with. It may be where most systems came from but it does not provide a solid, healthy base but rather routines that hide the true issues.

I'd probably recommend Magic Bullets by LoveSystems which is clearly based on MM but helps lay a foundation for noobs to understand how attraction works and why rather than just what line to say.

Same goes for Rules of the Game though it's a little more hands on and experimental (for the individual trying the activities) and gets a lot of guys out of the comfort zones which is good.

All of the additional reading stuff is good and helpful but can't really be used as a base (with the exception of David D.)

I would also like to add The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene. The history lessons can be a bit much but i have found it to be an excellent read if you are intent on seducing one person.

Style's books were what got me interested in the pick-up community. It was a gateway book that sparked my obsession with learning about social dynamics, basic body language reading, and self-esteem recovery which I believe are all essential in seduction.

His books are well written, don't get me wrong. Looking back however, I do feel that there are better books out there. Now that I have read a hefty sum of books on this topic, in comparison with some other books I feel that Neil Strauss' writing is more narrative rather than informative.
