Yeah I guess I could still develop feelings, but it means I cant go on a date with someone else that day

Not exactly lined up, like the other girl lives a bit further away which is awkward but physically I am more into

Practice.
If you don't feel anything for her sexually then make her a friend.
She might have a hot friend that you do feel sexual feelings for.

Thanks! How would you go about changing it from 'dating' to just friends without upsetting her?

You will upset her. That's just how dating works.
The real question is "How do you raise the odds of still keeping her in your life?"
Here's an example:
"To be frank, I'm not really feeling any romantic or sexual connection here but I do like the fact that you're X & Y and I really wanna do Z with you. Would you be cool if we still did that but as friends?"
The key to easing the pain of someone you reject or admonish in any way and getting them to be more ok with the situation is to give them a roadmap of what to do going forward.
Offer them sort of a consolation prize but spell it out. Don't just say, "Maybe we can be friends?" because you just made them feel pretty shitty so you don't want the pressure of figuring out the next step to be on them.

Thabks, I'd love to keep her in my life because we hit it off on so many levels, just not sexually (for me). Appreciate the time you put into this and I'll reply what happens after our date on Sunday.

Awesome. Would love to hear about that.

I went on a date with a girl who wasn't really "my type" once and it ended up going really well. Doesn't hurt to test your horizons and you don't owe anyone anything by going on a date so what's to lose. It might even go better than some other dates if you've ever had issues with getting in your own head. The less you're trying to impress someone the more attractive you appear.

Thanks for that view, it's just that I wouldn't be bothered looking attractive but wouldnt really want her getting more attracted I don't think
