So there's this HB8 that I've been texting on an off for like, 3 months. Yeah, I know, it's weird. Anyway, when we first started hanging out, it was before winter, and we talked about going snowboarding when winter came around. No matter how awkward it got, or how much I thought it was over due to hanging out and it ending in a lame way, I'd get a random text or affirmation about going snowboarding.

I texted her once to let her know I was going if she wanted to come, but she was out of town. Then she texted me about going on another trip, but I said I couldn't because I was busy that day (I was). I texted her again a few weeks later to let her know I was going again, and she said she probably couldn't afford it (it was out of town, more costly for sure). I tried to convince her and said that I'd buy the drinks. No response.

At this point, I'm just like, blah this is a pain in the ass. If this was supposed to happen, it would have happened.

Now, a week or so later, she texts me: "hey if i'm feeling better i'm going snowboarding this weekend if u want to come." I said "Well then I hope you feel better!" She said "thanks."

Ok, so wtf does this all mean? Is she asking as a courtesy? Do I ask her if she's feeling better? Do I wait for her to contact? Do I just plan on going?

I want to ask who all is going, driving situation, timing, etc., but I know that I wouldn't get responses to hardly any of the questions probably, if responses at all, because likely I don't know any of the people and it otherwise sounds like a weird situation for me to be in. I imagine she felt similar when I invited her, but my invitations weren't surrounded by some easy wishy-washy escape mechanism.
