You did the right thing. You absolutely did the right thing. The ball is in her court now. But don't wait around for her. Maybe see if you get something in a week, but if you don't, start putting out feelers for other girls.

Bravo man, tho. Seriously. You don't wanna be friends with her, you like her, don't be friends. I'm not sure what the whole, "Do you like me," thing was about. To me, a girl who asks that generally has feelings for you. And maybe she does or did. I have a feeling she is teetering on moving on from said ex, maybe got scared.

But you know what, red flag avoided. Because for her to pose a question like that, then bail, go back to ex. She just broke up I'm guessing. Even if she said she likes you, nothin but a rebound

Hints are better. But yeah don’t ask a girl twice if she likes you. I don’t even ask once. You don’t need to know. You just need her to play along in your game of seduction

Saying “Come to me when you know what you want” puts the ball in her court. Don’t make it sound like you’re waiting for her
