I'll try to keep this one brief.

I've got a fairly average level of attractiveness, but I tend to experience AA. I think I'm probably in the bottom 10th percentile in capabilities in approaching women.

I parked near a couple clubs and quickly chugged three beers. Walked into a pretty popular club with a fratty / upper-middle class feel that I normally frequent on the weekends with my friends. Everything felt extremely different going out by myself. I walked in and just did my rounds through the dancefloors and around the site. I didn't really know what to do, so I sat outside by a fireplace pretending to text on my phone (but I was really just trying to calm myself down). A guy sat down next to me and I mentioned how fucking cold it was outside. We had a two minute, friendly conversation about our backgrounds and I felt like that dispelled some of my jittery nervousness.

Takeaway: get your foot in the door with a social interaction. It doesn't matter what it's about and it doesn't matter who it's with.

I took a couple trips to the bathroom and kind of just walked around, occasionally doing some light dancing when I walked near the dancefloor. I did my best to just focus on trying to have a good time and not breaking eye contact after a girl locks eyes with me. I felt like I had some blood flowing, but I was still a little too sober to start going hard on the dancefloor.

I changed up the scenery and went next door to a club with harder hitting music and significantly darker lighting. It was nice being able to dance without judgement because the atmosphere was fairly disorienting. I was able to immerse myself in the environment and just enjoy the music. Got a beer and found a couple decent looking women dancing in a group. I kept dancing by myself in the middle of the mass of humanity, but I subtly made my way towards them. Eventually, I caught the eyes of one of the girls and smiled and stepped towards her with a new dance move. She seemed fairly receptive because she mirrored me. I then looked away and just kept dancing by myself, trying to maximize the good time I was having. Then I felt like I got a little lucky because she approached me asking for my name. We did some brief dancing and grinding and a brief kiss. Then she left and got some high fives from her friends.

It didn't really matter how authentic that interaction was because I enjoyed its result. This gave me some confidence and I ended up opening a couple more girls on the dancefloor. A couple times I went up to a girls and started grinding on them. That's right. It's goofy and you get some physical contact and girls seem to love it. Next time, I think I'll start the night with a venue like this because it really got me in state and is really conducive to working on kino. There were a lot of creepy guys in that club. Maybe I was one of them, who knows. But, I stopped caring what people thought because I got results.
