The most common objections that I hear is that "girls normally don’t want to date a person as short, old, poor, ugly, etc, as I am."

All else being equal, on average all these things are likely true. However, this should not matter to you, because you know that you are the exception.

The exception is the guy that a company is willing to overlook a lack of credentials because they like his vibe.

The exception is the guy that a girl who is normally flaky puts in the effort to meet on time.

The exception is the guy who is not particularly handsome or intelligent or funny, but still gets invited to every party because people enjoy his company.

Think of the average person. You don’t want to be the average person. You want to be an exceptional person.

The majority of Americans are overweight; it’s better to be the exception.

The majority of Americans have barely any financial savings; it’s better to be the exception.

The majority of people work jobs that they find somewhat to totally unfulfilling; it’s better to be the exception.

The majority of people fall into non-ideal relationships out of scarcity, fear, and loneliness; it’s better to be the exception.

Don’t focus on what you perceive to be your negatives, but instead focus on all your positive attributes. Realize what you have no power over and cannot change, but work to maximize and improve the things that you do have control over. These positives can more than compensate for other shortcomings, making you the exception.
