There is this Cafe that I frequently go to where this cute girl works at. I've been meaning to talk to her but I was too much of a bitch before. This morning I decided to go alone instead of with my friend. She was working cashier and I made small talk. Asked for her name then went off to read my book after I got my coffee. After a little bit of reading I saw her sitting on the couch on the other side of the room. I closed my book and walked straight over and asked if the seat next to her was taken. I was close to pussying out but decided to just walk straight at her and not back down. She said no and sat up with a smile. We begin talking and I find out that she left everything on the other side of the country and came to California by herself. She's only 20. We really hit it off and have a date next week.

Things I learned: Approach anxiety is a little bitch you need to suppress. Just don't think and walk straight for it. Don't second guess yourself. Nervousness is excitement so think of it as such.
