Your 26. Your still young, so I don't see it as a bad thing. The way you phrased it can come off as creepy. "Decade younger". They're your peers so treat them as such. If you do, you won't have an issue. My recommendation is stick to +21 they tend bit more mature.

It may be an extreme example but there was an article the other week where a Princeton Prof married a student after she graduated. She was your age and he is 71. I went back to my college to get a transcript. I'm 47. I struck up a conversation with senior(maybe 22-25?) Thought she was a prof, looked a bit older. (of course after an education in game, working out, fashion, etc). Didn't ask for her number but I found out she is single and said the guys there are too immature for her.

Honestly, not all women will be interested. But some certainly will. Women like older guys. Some a bit older, some much older. Those guys have maturity and their shit figured out. Women aren't attracted to the same things as men. If that was the case they would date the same sex.

The fact that you were never in a relationship before scared me. If you are clueless then you are going to be more clueless now, and you will feel like an oddball.

There are a few caveats with dating in college when you are an "older" guy.

Logistics. Parents can be a factor. Unless you are at a large university, these girls will possibly live at home and be dependent on mom and dad. That could mean curfews, check-ins, having to - ugh - meet them when you pick them up from "their place". Just be aware for the sake of logistics and plan accordingly.
Reputation. Don't be the guy hitting on all the girls in your department. Universities can get a fishbowl effect. If you get a reputation as a womanizer, you will never shake it. Be cool, build you social circle, if a girl isn't vibing just get them in a friend zone so you have social proof with other women that you aren't a creeper.
False Bravado. Take advantage of the fact you have your life more together than the rest of them but don't be bragging on yourself. The old adage of "act like you been there before" rings true here. An actual mature adult who has been through college before wouldn't try to impress these younger people - he'd just be confident, have fun, enjoy his time, and take care of business. However, they are your colleagues and you shouldn't try to act above them.
Socialize. You will need to go to parties or at least events. If you are a social pariah girls will feel uneasy being alone with you or anyone figuring out you hooked up with them. The high school reputation/being cool thing is wears off in college but it isn't completely gone by a long shot.
Get over your age. The age thing isn't going to be an issue unless you let it be one. If anyone brings it up or tries to use it against you, own it. Exaggerate it, complain about how your back is killing you, tell them you can get them senior discounts at IHOP, say it is okay to call you "papaw" or "gramps" if it makes things less awkward for them. A girl interested in you will eventually shit-test you. Age will be a low hanging fruit so it could come up. However, the reality is mature, "older" guys have an attractiveness to them that you can't teach another guy. So it something you can use.

Bragging will never make you cool - especially about a college degree. Women prefer older men...men being the key word
