People are vastly, vastly, vastly under-utilizing social media as a part of their overall social and dating strategy.

Some think it’s shallow.

Some think it’s about who can take “good pictures.”

Social media isn't a popularity contest, as much as some of us wish it were sometimes.

Socializing and dating are both about one thing and one thing only.

It’s about connecting with others and sharing the same interests.

If you can do that, pickup becomes a lot easier. You don’t have to think about “what you’re going to say next.”

With social media, you’re making it easy for others to connect and stay in touch with you.

I’ve written extensively about this because it’s how I came up from zero to something in a big city where I was a nobody. You've got to make it easy for people to hit you up. You've got to make it easy for people to remember you. Easy is the magic word.

Actually, I’d make a huge argument that most guys on this forum don’t have deplorable personalities that repel everyone around them.

They just don’t have a system that enables them to easily stay in touch with others. They don’t have a way of staying, “top of mind,” so they complain that they're never get invited to shit, and they’re constantly the ones doing “all the work.”

Dude, you’ve got to make it EASY for others to remember you. This isn’t fucking high-school where you’ve got class every day with your buddies. People are busy. They’re distracted with their own problems. You think they’re going to remember to hit you up about that party happening this weekend?

They’re not. So you’ve got to make it easy for them to remember you. You gotta stay relevant and “top of mind.”

Yes, this can be hard. Yes, this can be a little too much. But if it were easy, then everyone in /r/seduction would be a social butterfly right now.

Start posting stories about your life on Snapchat or Instagram.

Start commenting on people’s photos or stories. Let them know you’re alive and exist. Be someone in their life. This is what’s called “taking initiative.”

Add everyone you meet on social media. Get their Snapchat or Instagram and say, “Let’s stay in touch.” Maybe things will lead somewhere. Perhaps they won’t. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN! Just put yourself out there more, something is bound to happen.

I refuse to be just another “random number” in someone’s phone. Leave that for the sweaty chump they briefly met at the bar.

I highly, highly, highly encourage you to reconsider how you use social media on a day-to-day basis. Most of you guys have incredible personalities, interesting lifestyles, and cool hobbies. You just need a way to easily stay in touch with others and stay relevant.

If I can do this while working from 8am-6pm and living an average, regular life… Then I can only imagine what some of you can do.
