You should read the book, Most Connected Guy in Town. It's free and dedicated specifically towards Instagram/Snapchat success. Link: https://gumroad.com/snapsocialguru#UjsVF

"They say they just want to be friends" = they don't find you attractive. If this is a consistent theme, then yeah, you actually do have some changing to do. Also, if you're consistently blocking chicks because they don't find you sexually appealing, then that too subcommunicates a lot. You've got to relax and take it all as a joke. Have more fun with it. You say you aren't taking it personal but you're tone says otherwise

Send me your profile and text convos and I'm happy to judge / give you pointers. I'm 28 and had to hop back on online dating this year (typically against it). After two weeks I got the hang of it, started getting great matches, and got a date. Honestly you should also focus on being a winner in your personal life. Your self esteem is taking a huge hit

Yes if you're smooth. Wouldn't lead with it though unless the woman I'm speaking with also talks that language. I'd say lead with your confidence and then bust out the other languages if it'd help with your cause. Think of it like spice. You're the main dish but the languages thing is the spice. People love you for you, not the spice.

Seduction and attraction really only works for people who are in the market. This woman isn't in the market. "Pleasure to meet you" and move on.

Send me your dating profile in a DM. I'll give you an audit. Prob has to do with a combination of how you message these chicks + your profile setup. It shouldn't be sloppy easy. But it shouldn't be mission impossible either.

Send me your profile and a couple of matches you've gotten (but that didn't lead anywhere). I'll give you a couple pointers. Like yourself, I prefer RL dating too but then got on the apps and realized it's a whole diff ballgame. Learned lots.

My ex was like that. Had a job she really enjoyed, hobbies (huge into rock climbing and cycling), etc. Overall it was a breath of fresh air to date someone who had great things going on in her life.

Yes. Here are some of the things I look out for: - Her relationships (or lack of them) - How healthy her relationships are with others - Not popularity (quantity), but quality of relationships All of those are green flags to me and that make me stick around. I’ve dated beautiful women with absolutely atrocious relationships with other women, for example. Or they have trouble building rapport or connecting with my friends. Etc. I don’t need the most popular woman in the room. But I certainly am n…

Two of my best friends are Indian and did extremely well. Both have strong accents. Average height. Average looks (they stay in shape, but not really). Both balding in their late 20s. Both really cool guys. Super chill, easy to get along with, and put a lot of effort into learning social dynamics and dating. Now they’re pretty much naturals. Curious to hear how long you’ve put the work in for, and also, I’m curious how much emphasis you put on your appearances. Seems like you think women care ab…

This subreddit is a combo of horny 17 year olds who want chicks to text them right away versus 28 year old men who have gotten past the “fucking” phase and want to use game as a way to meet someone special and wholesome. Both styles of game require absolute different approaches and until Reddit’s seduction community (yes, I say Reddit because there are many other corners of the internet that don’t face this specific problem) learns those differences, it’ll continue to fuck itself up. Good question. I'd say when I started my journey five years ago, I was more on the introverted spectrum. Rule #1 helped me bypass that gradually. Something not posted in the image was what I said about quality > quantity in friends. You don't need a LARGE circle to thrive.

I am by no means the expert on this, but when I first moved to SF I had to make my own rules. I think the only guy talking about this back then was RSD Luke, but his stuff was too gamey for my style and overly-focused on hitting clubs every night (not doable for most people). Let me know if you guys have any questions about this stuff, happy to elaborate. Couldn’t squeeze it all in one post. Long story short I moved to SF five years ago after college not knowing anyone. Quick bullet points: Being playfully challenging + confident = chemistry and attraction. It’s a repeatable formula that is hard to screw up. A lot of guys are afraid of being challenging and cannot handle tension. Unfortunately, this leads to boring dates that lead nowhere. If you can successfully create tension, while also being cordial and respectful, she will find you as “interesting”. My favorite example of this is the movie, Ocean 11, with George Clooney and Julia Roberts at the restaurant …

Fuck it, I’m going to say it since no one else will. Day game, and other spam approach methods, are a myth. They’re a scam. It’s a highly ineffective method of building relationships and unnatural talking to human beings. Day game, and other methods of spam approaching, are almost always an absolute waste of time that don’t produce any results. It was something marketed and packaged by the oldschool PUA industry to sell courses and coaching. But it doesn’t work. You shouldn’t hate yourself for i…

I read this book a couple of years ago and found it to be very much focused on the anatomy of a woman's body, as opposed to focusing on mindset, psychology, and best practices. Are there any chapters in the book that you recommend most? Thanks.

Other quick bullet points: I disagree with the PUA sentiment that “texting is only for logistics”. There’s A LOT of value that can be built over text that can help further establish attraction, value, and familiarity. ESPECIALLY in dating apps, there’s a lot of “noise”. Women have hundreds of options. But if you know how to present yourself well, you can differentiate yourself from all the options out there. One of the best ways to improve your texting is by only texting when you’re in a positiv…

Confident and assertive characteristics: - socially intelligent - empathetic - unapologetic It has to be the perfect balance. Aggressive: - socially unintelligent - ignoring the social cues - talking at you, not to you Very big differences. The key thing to note is that yes, you can be direct and assertive without necessarily being an asshole or without alienating anyone. It is a hard communication style to master but that’s why guys who’ve mastered it are perceived as more alluring and attracti…

So some of the steps I started off with was just basic courtesies: saying hello strangers in an elevator, smiling and saying good morning to people I passed in the hallway. This helped me “loosen” up. Also, I’d have times I’d go out to a bar or club simply to observe. I witnessed naturals who were really good at just talking to strangers. This helped me normalize cold approach. Finally, I started saying more authentic or “brave” statements that I was afraid of expressing (nothing dumb or offensi…

Cold approaching and talking to strangers (especially beautiful women) is extremely difficult to overcome but it can be done. I gave up dating apps entirely 2 years ago because I was angry that I didn’t have the guts to approach a beautiful woman. With that said, my biggest learning was that it comes down to how much permission you give yourself to express. Meaning, if you have trouble talking to women, you probably have communication trouble in a couple other areas of life too. Once I began giv…

When I moved to San Francisco five years ago, I knew nobody. On top of that, I was in a psychotic relationship I had just broken off, so I was also an emotional garbage can. Today, things are much different, and I always have something to do (a lot of the people I met come from my social circle or an extension of it) Here are a few things I did: "Snapchat closed" everyone and anyone I met, even if briefly. If you’re judging the general woman population based on what you’re seeing on Tinder/Bumble, your outlook is going to be extremely skewed lol. I will say, the online dating apps are filled with the type of women who are partying tons, getting over an ex, or straight up just trying to grow their Instagram / get attention. This isn’t the answer you’re looking for but it’s an answer other men need to hear: Be careful of the type of women you choose to engage with. Do you really want to waste your time with a girl who’s ranting on Facebook about how much men suck? It’s toxic. She isn’t in a healthy state of mind. She’s bitter about a recent guy she’s dealt with or recently went through a breakup. My dilemma with dating apps is that they rob men of important real-world skillsets that are immensely valuable. For example, being able to talk to strangers or spark a conversation with someone out of the blue is one of the most rewarding life-skills. When you master it, you start to have a lot more fun and become more charismatic. It opens up TONS of opportunities for you. Unfortunately, this skill becomes A LOT more difficult to develop when you know you can just sit on the toilet and swipe ri…

There’s definitely a hierarchy. For example, I don’t know how productive it is to cold approach someone when you don’t know how to read a room, sense a vibe, and play off that. You need a good foundation of empathy and social awareness for cold approaching. I don’t think it’s a BAD idea to learn seduction simultaneously, but what I would say is to be mindful of your foundation and don’t skip steps. This ebook is a great start if you are looking to land more dates and hangouts via Snapchat/Instagram: https://gum.co/mostconnected I will say, however, that it would be very inefficient to hit up strangers on Snapchat/Instagram who you've never met or bumped into. You want to have at least some form of real-world interaction with them before reaching out.

Essentially what I was trying to say is that this “myth” has been around since we were children. It’s been programmed for a long time. So breaking out of it can take effort but that effort is worth the while.

Investing in a coach is a great idea but id say you should build up your base and foundations a lot more before you pull the trigger. All they’re going to do in bootcamp is try to force concepts into your head without taking the time to understand you or your thought patterns. Not sure how long you’ve been studying seduction but give it 1-3 years before you hire a coach.

I’d call it “mature seduction”. I write about it often but have been influenced by books like 6 Pillars of Self Esteem, Not Nice, and Radical Honesty. I like to focus on seduction as a communication style that’s applicable to all areas of life, not just a means to an end (ie getting laid).
/r/seduction13/09/20 09:44 PM

Other key bullet points: A lot of guys who are learning seduction are afraid of social ostracization; this inhibits their ability to communicate powerfully. “Naturals” have discovered communication styles that provoke more emotion, without offending or shooting themselves in the foot. Being fully congruent with your personality takes bravery; but its this bravery that makes people want to “tune in” and listen to you more, sparking attraction: Source: https://socialite.substack.com/p/the-master-c…

Something not talked about in the seduction community is the differences in dating across age groups. Attracting 18-24 is way different than attracting 25-33. Playboy game works very well in the former group. Gentleman game works very well in the 25-33 age group. A good analogy is advertising: you wouldn’t use the same ad on younger audience as you would with an older audience. It’s a whole different style and approach. 25 is the age to find this out. You’re at the crossroads of adulthood.

Always operate within the social rules set in place. Practice social intelligence, or better put, awareness. Just read the room and you’ll be fine. With regards to flirting, Google David DeAngelo’s “cocky funny” stuff. It’s old content but highly effective. I learned this stuff at age 17 after an addiction to Runescape, lol. Imagine a socially awkward kid with pretty good game... that was me after combing David’s stuff one summer.

It takes balls of steel and there are negative repercussions if you screw it up. You can get rejected, socially ostracized, kicked out, or worse... get beat up. So your lizard brain fools you into being a quiet little bitch for the rest of life. Of course, there are “naturals” who discover it’s all a myth and none of those worst case scenarios ever happen. People tend to be generally pretty nice. And when you allow for more freedom of expression, women tend to take interest. Life becomes pretty …

Have you tried therapy? Seriously. Seduction works if you’ve got a good foundation you can work or build from. You need to work on that man. I think a basic set of pickup and social skills can help, but I get the sense that direct feedback from a therapist would help you more.

It’s an internal thought pattern. 100% worth analyzing. Personally, when I started to ask myself WHY I was so afraid of approaching a woman, I realized that it was because I was afraid to truly express myself. Ultimately, that question led me towards a path of more “honest” or “direct” communication. Furthermore, this analyzation helped me realize that nothing I was saying was wrong / inappropriate / rude / offensive. Ultimately, this process helped me become more direct without being offensive.…

What's better to teach someone is empathy and social intelligence. Empathy as in seeing things from the perspective of the girl and trying to imagine how she feels or wants to be treated and social intelligence so that you can develop a better sense of what is appropriate at any given moment. Everything in game must be done with social intelligence. This is a fundamental of any skill that has to do with relating to others (negotiation, sales, business, networking, dating, etc).

The issues you outlined in your previous response were very much confidence and identity issues, expressed through texting. You’re right that there’s a lot of room for error but to say “texting is just for logistics” is not right and IMO causes more harm than good. There’s a spectrum to it and you have to learn how to be expressive over text. It matters greatly and it’s an extension of a good, well-rounded personality. I’m not going to say it doesn’t happen because I’m sure there’s one or two cave trolls in here who are ACTUALLY pulling it off. But typically, guys aren’t leveraging Instagram to FIND women. Social momentum, as it relates to a relationship, is real. You're losing social momentum in all of your interactions, and as a result, they're completely fizzling out. Attention is the currency for these interactions and you aren't giving much. I encourage you to keep in mind the idea of social momentum. Don't let more than a couple of days between convos.

It’s not his mannerisms that people like, it’s his vibe and the way he carries himself. Take note how him and others similar make you feel. He has a very relaxed, casual, yet present vibe to him. Try and achieve that and you’ll find that people will become attracted to you. Key part of this is also your INNER THOUGHTS, as a key part of having a solid vibe is also a solid set of belief systems / inner game.

Big part of “validating” yourself is not taking yourself seriously, being able to laugh at your errors in this journey, and coming in with a curious mindset. Women judge based on behavior, men judge on looks (initially). But when they’ve entered the interaction and taken things forward, that’s when being discretionary becomes more powerful. Being discretionary is a major power move that subcommunicates confidence, abundance, and boundary. Those are all extremely high status traits to behold.

I don’t know if I agree with that. I’m referring to legitimately parting ways as friends and keeping it that way. It’s a strong boundary to have that only increases your self respect and the respect you get from those around you. I think your version of the “male friendzone” is extremely dark.

MORE CONTEXT I've got a few buddies who share their dating experiences with me. They’re great at sparking convos but they can’t seem to land dates or generate any deep interest from a woman. I have no issue complimenting a woman on her looks, style, or personality if it’s genuine. I especially have no issue with it if I have a genuine appreciation for who she is as a person and want to “gift” her in the form of a compliment. I have absolutely zero worry about how many other compliments she may or may not receive on a daily basis from other men. If we’re in a conversation, and there’s a clear connection, AND if there’s something I genuinely appreciate about her... I compliment.

That’s a great point. But, no, they don’t always assume you have an ulterior motive. It depends on the kind of guy you are. If you’re the typical “nice guy” who does nice things for people with an ulterior motive, people will read right through the insincerity. HOWEVER, if you’re a more established guy (who’s worked on his appearance, social skills, and game)... then a compliment can be a very alluring thing. And if you think every guy is making a genuine effort or move, you’re wrong. You’d be s…

More context: If you’ve been studying game, pickup, and social dynamics for a while (and also taken the time to hit the gym and revamp your fashion-sense), chances are that many women think very highly of you. If that’s the case, do this: give more compliments. There’s nothing more alluring and charming than a strong, perfectly delivered compliment (especially from a high-status guy who’s taken the time to improve his social and dating skills…which is very rare nowadays). Ask yourself this: where do people who enjoy those things hang out? Are they at bars? If so, what type of bars? Are they at art events? If so, what type of art events? Strategize the ways you can marry your interests with a social activity.

It’s something you’ve got to strategize and think about. Where is a place you can hang out where people love music? Where can you hang out where people love music AND socializing? Where can you hang where people love music AND socializing AND enjoy exactly the type of music you enjoy? This is the social strategy we’re referring to in this thread.

Lmfao because all people care about is attraction and that’s the only thing they EVER judge people on and they never ever ever ever use ANY logic to pick guys! Good luck. Heads up, applies to business and social networking world as well. Have fun ruining all your relationships.

/r/seduction16/10/19 04:15 AM

Exactly. I know many men who do yoga because they genuinely love it. I found that comment above yours to be a little bit distasteful. Not all women are anti-social and they don’t instantly write off men because they do yoga. Unbelievable.
/r/seduction16/10/19 04:07 AM

This is great social strategy here. In many cases, a cold approach is detrimental. In social environments like this one, a friendly warm approach is better. You don’t need to go for the kill right away. Just be friendly and get along with everybody. That alone will open doors for you. It doesn’t always have to be about pickup to meet more women.
/r/seduction16/10/19 04:06 AM

Why not? What’s changed? There are “seasons”. I personally go through weeks of introversion and zero social activity. Those are my valleys. I also go through peaks. You must understand your seasons.
/r/seduction16/10/19 04:03 AM
15

Yes. That is true. The last step is more nuanced. But 100% fits into the equation. The first two points are moot if you show up to the world with an unappealing personality. You must put your best foot forward. I haven’t talked about it yet but it is something I’m developing a more “in depth” ebook about. Your personality is your greatest weapon as it’s what’s going to intrigue people and “open the door” to many social opportunities.

Can be great, I usually recommend 2-3 so that you have a more consistent flow of social opportunities coming your way. If you put all of your eggs in one basket, it can limit the amount of people you’re exposed to. A necessary staple for dating and social success is simply just ACCESS to people (simple but you’d be surprised how many guys don’t think about it).

The caveat is that it must be congruent to your personality. If you’re only doing yoga to meet women, people will sense it. If you’re doing yoga because you truly love it AND you happen to meet women as a side-effect, then it can work.
/r/seduction16/10/19 03:35 AM

It will depend on your personality and interests. There’s so many hobbies out there. For me, when I was growing my social circle and meeting more women IRL (as opposed through online), I met people through a social running club, a wine-tasting group, and a meditation class I attended every week. If you’re not into running, wine, or meditation, those might not make sense for you as they wouldn’t be congruent to your personality. Nobody cares / nobody witnesses or observes you as closely as you think they do. Work on your vibe and how you present yourself to others; do this mercilessly. It’s a self check in process. When a stranger tries to do small talk with you, do you rush to end it or do you attempt to converse? When someone talks to you out of the blue, do you act “too cool” or are you warm back? Are you annoyed when others try to spark a conversation with you, or do you welcome it? If the answer to any of those is negative, chances are you aren’t approachable and the “vibe” you give off is cold. FYI: I recently started a blog that talks more about this kind of stuff: Soci…

If someone offers you insight or advice, you don’t want to respond in an unproductive manner. It might seem small but if this is how you reply when you ask a question and the person doesn’t give you an answer your don’t want to hear, I wouldn’t be surprised if this effects areas of your dating life too. Again, it’s all about people skills here and how you make those around you feel.
/r/seduction02/10/19 04:53 AM

You need to find ways to get yourself out of that anxious, overthinking state of mind. Why does it happen? What triggers it? What have you done to fix it? When you’re in really good moods, why is that? It’s this level of introspection that’s going to help you fix your vibe and inner state of mind. An anxious, overthinking state of mind is not effective when it comes to social and dating success.

That’s correct but not applicable to everyone. You can have a wildly successful, confident person who lives an interesting lifestyle who still suffers with women. To many, it’s a genuine skill set they have to learn. They’re confident in many forms but when it comes to dating and women, they freeze up. Conversely, there are a lot of guys who do know how to approach women and are extremely popular. Yet, internally they’re filled with insecurities about themselves and the world.
/r/seduction02/10/19 03:13 AM
9

Inner = your mindset, philosophies, reframes, your unique personality and character traits. Outer = your social life strategy, approaching, ability to flirt, ability to express interesting in a savvy manner, etc. Two very different things.
/r/seduction02/10/19 02:55 AM

Social feedback; how others respond to you and how they describe you. It’s something that you must be keen about (without overly caring about what others think about you) in order to have exceptional social and dating skills.
/r/seduction02/10/19 02:29 AM
7

“Fake it till you make it” is a good strategy if you’re a beginner who’s learning the ropes. But if you’ve never faced your inner demons, it can become toxic and repelling. Overtime, you want to be authentic, natural, real, honest, and well-intentioned. The more you hide, the more people will turn the other way. You can’t fool people, and especially higher-quality people who discern carefully and don’t let just ANYONE into their lives. And anyone who you fool is someone who you don’t want in you…

Thought I’d do this text analysis on the topic because a lot of guys burn their social capital entirely by failing to build rapport or comfort with girls via text. Sometimes, you 100% need to do it and skip the logistics (for now). Its up to you to be socially intelligent and determine if A) you need to build more social capital before you go for the ASK or B) go right for the logistics. This is what sets up the good guys from the rookies. They can’t tell which route to take. Part of developing …

TL;DW: Keeping the texting to a minimum can help create more chemistry, tension, and excitement. If you overdo the texting, you risk losing them and spending unnecessary amounts of social capital. Know when to build comfort/rapport, but also know when to peel back. So I thought I'd create this video because it's a great example of a girl who's clearly into you. Now that you can see that she is, how do you take advantage of that? The beauty of "game" is that it teaches you how to have above-a…

A classic trap a lot of guys fall into when they want to keep the conversation flowing with a girl is this: They try to “entertain” her too much. 100% be cool, funny, interesting... but when you overdo it, you risk losing her. Haha... the good ‘ole breakup. How old are you? If you’re coming back into the game between ages 25-30, it’s a whole different ball game. It takes great presence and observations to get it right. I hate to be discouraging but someone has to be blunt: You don’t know her. You and 500 other guys are thinking the same thing when they see her photos on Twitter. Your “hook” is you messaging her out of the blue with an anonymous account with 2 followers on it. If you were in her shoes, how would you find yourself remotely compelling? You’ve got to step it up, man.

If you’re someone who’s taking action and pushing their edge on a daily basis, it’s good to know that there are others out there who are going through the same struggle. It can be a lonely ride. To have a community revolving around this is awesome. I went through a major breakup seven months ago and had to relearn a lot of styles I let go of. There’s a great book called Pimp, by Iceberg Slim. Definitely insightful read, that goes into what you’re referring to. But I wouldn’t say that’s real game, nor of interest to everyone. A friend of mine owns a chain of strip clubs and can go into great detail of certain human behavior, red flags, etc. But it’s not the epitome for everyone, and he’d agree with that.

Here’s a good guide on how to do game in small town / small cities. The main differentiation from “gaming” in small towns versus big cities is the amount you approach. You can’t constantly cold approach in a small town. You’ve got to worry about your reputation + there’s not enough people to approach. So it’s a dead end strategy. Thus, you have to focus your efforts on building a social circle + getting into parties. This will expose you to various opportunities you otherwise wouldn’t have. Good…

I also did a lot of comparing, which is unfair. So yea, I agree 100% Another great point I forgot to mention... If you rebound too quickly as a form of revenge, anger, or a similar emotion... It’s anchor. This anchor serves as a form of “emotional attachment”, which ironically keep you HOOKED on your ex, even if that’s what you’re trying to avoid. Move on too quickly, and you also compare all the new girls to your EX. And the new girls are never enough. They’re never “as good”. And this loop jus…

I went through a breakup 8 weeks ago. It was a 2 year relationship. And it was my 3rd LTR. And let me tell you. IT DOESNT GET EASIER. But I do know the cycles I go through. I know what works. And what doesn’t. Here’s what’s initially going to happen: you’re going to want to get back out and fuck tons of girls. You say to yourself, “this will make me confident again! There is a big part of your personality that's pungent. It's repelling girls away (of course, excluding the horny Craigslister who no high-value guy would ever want to chase because they're TRASH). Your homies don't want to bang you. That's why they don't mind your personality. Furthermore, you likely act very different around your guy friends than you do around women. Again, I can't nail down what's repelling women away from you, but it's definitely a personality trait of yours.
/r/seduction03/07/18 09:16 PM

Your personality sucks. You got looks. Your friends like you. You’ve even had “logistics” down. But girls are repelled by you. To the point that they give you fake numbers. Not sure how much a stranger can help you behind a computer screen, but that’s a good start, my friend.

I slid into the DMs recently. And it worked. With a “10”. When you slide into the DMs, she knows you’re interested. When you stalk her insta and like a few pics already, she knows you’re interested. So if you’re going to message her at all, you better be a man and get straight to the point. “We should get some drinks next week.” This will work if: she’s single and intrigued. She will be intrigued if your Instagram is on point. If not, you’re just another lame hitting her up. G’luck.

Your friends are exceptional. But they’re the exception to the rule. It’s possible, but uncommon. But yes — totally posible — and within reach to be a sexual, high value person in a small town. But what I’m saying is the strategy to get there is going to be different than what it is in a big city.

When I was leveraging Snapchat to land dates, one of the things I learned is that people love messages that are "relevant" to them. Friendships and positive relationships are an indicator of status. When girls recognize this, it signals to their brain, "Hey, this guy must be cool and normal." It's a form of preselection. Which is VERY important to have in the dating market. (Followed by a good personality, good "game", etc.) You don't feel that way about girls because men are more focused on the physical. The cues we look for initially are a lot simpler.

I wrote a book on how to use social media to spark conversations and grow relationships. I specifically wrote about social media because it’s a big pond where “all the fish are”. People are constantly checking their Instagram and Snapchat, so if you know how to hack it in your favor, the results can be incredible. Each chapter has action items anybody can do. Let me know if you have further questions.

I like this. I really do. Many of these points are pure gold. I agree with all points except point #1. Freedom isn’t free. And the best knowledge isn’t free. This year, I hired a relationship coach. Specifically, I hired Pat Stedman (google him). His coaching was top notch. And pricey. But the insights I learned were deeper than anything some random blog was going to give me. I made LEAPS. And the reason I state this is because I don’t want some young guy to be reluctant to invest in himself in …

These type of questions scream, "I care what others think of me. I don't want others to think less of me." Always be authentic. Always be honest. Always be fully accepting and confident of yourself. When you play that game, it doesn't matter what comes out of your mouth. You'll win and you'll attract equally attractive people. Liars, game-players, insecure men attract the worst type of girls. Don't play that game. PS: You have a self-esteem issue.

Part of it was that she thoroughly enjoys her independence. That's the good part. The other part of her is avoidant. She's afraid of intimacy and "giving" herself to someone. This is called an "avoidant attachment style". After digging deeper, she's not single because of her strengths. But because of her weaknesses. It took some time to talk this through.

I think when people ask this type of question, they're asking to dig deep. Thus, it should be authentic and vulnerable, but confident. I've got a friend who's single and I asked something similar. I can't figure out why she's chosen to be single when she's such a catch. When I asked the question, it was because I truly wanted to know about her. It was introspective. This is the type of question asked but that isn't anybody's business. They don't have to ask it. But the fact that it's asked says …

She's desperate for validation and attention. I can bet $100 you're not the only guy on her roster. The best way to deal with these type of girls is two ways: 1) Consistently make them feel "special". It's their ego. But you MUST be very "high value" yourself (otherwise you're another scrub). 2). Ignore. These type of girls lack depth and will suck you into their world. Guys with high standards + values don't typically involve themselves with these type of girls. Good luck.

The subcommunication behind this question is: "You're interesting. You seem to have your shit together. How is it that someone hasn't 'caught' you yet?" It's not a shit test. They're asking you out of curiosity (the good type of curiosity). A good response would be genuine and thoughtful. A moment to be real and vulnerable. I think it's great to be aware of the "slimy, seedy, manipulative" side of seduction. Not because anyone should use it, but because then you can avoid it and be more ethical. Girls use "game" too, btw. Not in the same way as guys, but if you're aware of ways YOU can be seduced as a guy, you can avoid it too. Girls who use game as a "mask" to hide their baggage are extremely important to avoid. Especially as you become ready to commit to a relationship.

I don't know how old you are, but you've just learned an incredibly valuable lesson. Screen your women. There's an array of red flags this girl is expressing. The first is a horrendous upbringing. The second is an abusive ex-boyfriend. When you analyze these situations -- and ask what impact they'd have on her persona -- it's not hard to see why she's a bad fucking pick. Move on. I'm happy for you. This relationship with your ex could've been drawn out for months or even YEARS. It's not you. It'…

The reason why this direct, hard-hitting openers can work so well on Tinder is that everyone there is already a "qualified lead". They're ready to meet new people and engage in something. This is a great question. I’m gonna go deep, so brace yourself. What a lot of guys don’t realize is that when they consciously (and many times this is also subconsciously) decide to play “games”, they also attract a certain type of girl (usually one with her own immaturity issues, no matter how psychically appealing she might be). When you attract crappy girls, you deal with crappy problems. The best type of girls you can attract are good selectors. They won’t fall for bullshit. To elevate yours…

Her being single. Her replying to your texts and being DEEPLY engaged with you. No inconsistency. Not merely being a little touchy but also OK spending long amounts of time with you OUTSIDE of class. Think dinner, study sessions at your place, chillin at the park, etc. You’re a classmate bro. A cool classmate, but at the end of it all, just a classmate.

I was going to suggest that same book. It's a scary road to go down. To your last point, a therapist wouldn't be a bad idea. A relationship coach would be a great idea. Engaging in deeper relationships (aka try banging 1-5 girls in one year, instead of 20-50) and reading books on attachment styles would be very good. This trial and error will fix a lot. Nothing like a few breakups to rock your world. It might be a lot of pain, but it can be solved. It's not an overnight thing. Not even close. As…

Game doesn't have to be a numbers game. At some point, most guys hit the quality > quantity point. They realized that getting laid was easy. Predictable. It was no longer fulfilling. Most guys, especially as they age, decide they want a deeper, more fulfilling relationship. They begin to work on their confidence and insecurities. They begin to attract higher quality women in their lives. It sounds like you never took the time to TRULY work on your inner game. And no, "pulling" doesn't solve ever…

RSD is a business. Max is a highly in-demand person. They're asking questions to make sure you're a good fit for the mentorship program. Not because they're trying to alienate you. This is to avoid wasting your time/money on a high-end product that isn't a good fit for you. It's also because they can't afford to waste time on crappy students. Well put and I think the big emphasis is it has to be a “light negative”. In fact, you should probably start small with this, especially if you’re less experienced. More advanced guys reading this have probably done things like pretend they’re getting up to walk away, and the girl will grab their arm and say, “No wait”. Start small. The biggest things I see with new guys is "impatience". This will be your #1 demoralizer, so look out for it. You'll want quick wins. You'll want quick results. But when you've been an anti-social nerd for 19.5 days (or 7,117 days)... it's going to take a while to grow out of that. So be patient. Do small, baby steps daily. In a year, you'll be icy. Swear.

"It's always greener on the other side." By the way, MANY guys have thoughts like this. You're in a relationship and think to yourself, "Man, it'd be so much better to be single." Then you're single and you wish you had an intimate companion you could fall back on. It's the cycles of game. Sometimes you're ready for companionship. Other times you're hungry and you want to hunt. Embrace whichever stage you're at.

Dump your girlfriend. And be single. You're clearly not in a position to seriously date someone when you also have a voice inside telling you to "bang more chicks". You don't need counseling or serious help. You just need a little maturity and discipline.

This is a really positive way of looking at online game. 110% agree with your last sentence as well. The more reference experience you can gather = the sharper your pickup skills + people skills become.

I like female friends. There are many benefits to having female friends. They have other friends. Friends she can introduce to you. Friends who are probably attractive. Friends who you can bring along to parties for social proof. Friends who will teach you how to be comfortable with feminine presence. Female friends are cool. You don't have to bang every girl you meet. Shocker, I know.

I was in your shoes two years ago when I moved to San Francisco. I was working 9 to 5 + hitting the gym + commuting. Then, I'd hit the hay by 9:30 PM (which always came very quickly and it always felt like time was slipping away from me). I ended up going on 40+ dates that year and met an amazing girl who's still my gf today. (my longest relationship yet). Here's what I recommend to any guy in your shoes who's got little time to spare for pickup/dating: Use Tinder/Bumble as a supplement. The ben…

When it comes to relationships, you should accommodate. At least when it comes to small things that cost you nothing. Your girlfriend isn't telling you to "text her more". She's telling you, "Hey, I enjoy hearing from you. I'm feeling a tad ignored at times. Can you make me feel better?" Perfectly normal (especially after 1-2 hours of not texting, if you two text often enough). Change it if it's little or no cost to you. Don't change it if it's a massive character change or value. This is a rela…

I feel like an outcast and noting to do on weekends I think your feelings of being an "outcast" is going to deteriorate your confidence and that will spill onto other aspects of the relationship. This is what can kill attraction over time. Drastically. I'd encourage any guy in a relationship to keep a good handle of on other aspects of their life (career, health, social circle, hobbies). Not because your "girlfriend will dump you" if you don't engage in those things, but because you'll lose your…

I’ve purchased many courses (over $5,000 worth), but the RSD courses were always the worst. Crappy customer service. General information inside the courses that were put together last minute. Their YouTube videos are better. I do however recommend Text Machine by /u/Todd-Valentine If he’s active on Reddit maybe he can reply here and let you know if he can still distribute that course (since he left rsd).

I think the idea of "learning pickup skills" get a lot of hate. (And Julien Blanc's fiasco with the media certainly didn't help the community get a positive look.) However, learning dating skills, people skills, and successful relationship management skills are crucial to happiness and success. I think we live in a society that tells us "we should" know this stuff or it should come naturally. But if it were that easy, divorce rates probably wouldn't be so high in America. It's a valuable skill j…

That’s a social circle, even if small. I wasn’t referring to how BIG your social circle is or how popular you are. I also don’t recommend in engaging in “futile” interactions. It also doesn’t make sense to be a part of things that aren’t “fun” (aka that you don’t find enjoyable). A solid circle can be 2-3 close friends and your family members. That’s my boat. Many acquaintances I can plug into for parties, events, opportunities. Family members and close friends for support, love, and well-being.

I don't expect to get with her but I want her to know what she's missing. No offense, but I don't think she's missing out on anything. It's clear that you care far too much about your reputation and whether you come across as "beta" or "alpha". (By the way, nobody outside the pickup community cares about that crap of being an "alpha male". It's of zero importance.) In fact, she does not even notice your bitterness. Get over it and move on. The answer to your first question is accept it and fully focus on improving the other aspects of yourself which you can control. However, your second question tells me you’re putting far too much emphasis and worry on your looks. Game in whichever way you’d like but just do it. As far as your third question, that’s fine and normal. We all have our down days. I do have a resource on this. Give me one second to find it. edit: read the BONUS mindset in this post.

You’re right. All knowledge and epiphanies must be backed up by action. Although, I’d disagree that there is no roadmap to certain successes. Certain plans, strategies, and game plays work. They work so well that success becomes highly predictable. I go into this in my book which I plan to publish in a few months. But certain successes aren’t accidents. They’re meticulously planned and executed (while still having fun).

Can’t every guy do what, exactly? Access to the hottest girls is independent of who you are as a person. You can have all of these qualities in the post. But if you live in Small Town, USA, it doesn’t matter. You’re going to need to be somewhere that has access to “Vegas Playmates”. If that’s what you’re into.

Your situation is interesting. I’ve seen it play out a few times with other people. Luckily you’re aware and observant of what’s going on. At some point or another, you will have to practice “filtering” yourself. Although it’s less about filtering yourself and more about social intelligence. For example, a comedian doesn’t go on stage and just start telling whichever jokes HE thinks are funny. He tells the jokes he’s tested before and which he knows work. In other words, he knows his audience an…

Thanks for reading. It means a lot to me. I am NEVER nervous what I say anymore. I’m quick witted, have great banter, and can overall hold great conversation. My ability to have good conversation comes in clutch A LOT. The CAVEAT to all of this, however, is that I’m not always secure in who I am as a person. Great question. The answer to this will be different for everyone. It can be many things. It can be a reflection of things such as a lack of trust, lack of empathy, maybe you’re an asshole, lack of interpersonal skills, betrayal, excessive hubris, etc. An example would be an ex-girlfriend for example. I dated her and observed that she had bad relationships with many other girls. Nobody seemed to like her. Drama drama drama. I overlooked the red flag because she was attractive. But that signal, w…

Not male friends exclusively. I’m speaking relationships in general (men, women, parents, grandparents, colleagues, etc). Social proof can also be conveyed in many ways (again, not exclusive to women). Otherwise, we’re on the same page. Refer back to being “likable” (#1 on list) which is something you’re touching on in regards to attraction. I agree that being likable can trump many other aspects (hence why I listed it as most important). Your last paragraph is really spot on by the way. Somethi…

Don’t overly focus on that example, because if you do, it’ll take away from the bigger picture. The message I was looking to convey was that relationships matter. And the relationships you have (or lack thereof) can be a signal of deeper-rooted issues worth looking into (and potentially fixing). I’ve found that measuring someone by the quality of their relationships with others is an accurate depiction of the person’s character. (I.e. I’m more inclined to trust you if I know others trust you as …

You’re right. Having difficulty establishing a solid inner circle and relationships (especially from scratch) doesn’t always insinuate negative personality traits, as I described. As a 25-year-old who’s no longer in college living in the same house as his frat-buddies, I can admit that its incredibly difficult to maintain friendships and other relations with people. In fact, I’m still getting used to it. However, if there’s a consistent lack of relationships, to me it is a red flag. At least bas…

No, you can flunk all those traits and still get laid I agree. You can do the "bare minimum" and still get results. Personally, I take an approach where it'll positively impact all aspects of my life. Not just with dating. If you're solely interested in getting laid, I suppose your approach helps. If you're interested in getting laid + improving other aspects of your life, a more well-rounded approach is beneficial.

Do whatever you want to do. Sometimes I pay, I like to treat. It feels good to be generous. Other times, I don't, and we split the tab. When I want to flip the gender scripts, I'll ask if she'd like to pay. There is no rule, except the one you want to play by. Do whatever you want to do.

Sometimes, you do gotta break it down. That’s why the charisma, social, and dating skill industry is worth of $2B. By the way, this is a problem far bigger than the pickup community. Even seasoned businesspeople struggle with this type of stuff. It’s difficult. It’s a lifelong skill to learn. And it takes constant awareness / improvement.

Texting is great. It’s also very difficult for some. Snapping someone back and forth is a lot more interactive than sending someone blocks of texts. In other words, texting isn’t the only medium for success anymore. It can be great. But it’s not the only thing.

The invisible script I’m reading here is: “Social media is bad. Anyone who uses social media is fake. America sucks.” An alternative script could be: “I want to share my experiences with the friends who can’t be with me tonight. Social media is an awesome way of staying in touch with friends. America is aight.” Reframe in there.

You’re right. People should be coming from a place of “sharing” when posting on social media. Not to “show off”. But there’s another reason why every guy should be posting on Snapchat or Instagram stories. It’s because in the dating and social scene, the #1 currency is attention. When you create awesome Snapchat stories that others love watching, you’ll not only grab people’s attention, but you’ll also get their engagement. People will spark conversations with you. People will invite you out to …

I like this advice a lot. Most guys think Tinder and online dating is just about logging on and waiting for things to happen. Then they complain and say, "Online dating doesn't work!". The best guys do a variety of different tests on their profile. They change their photos. They rewrite their bios. They test different openers. Until it clicks. Luckily, most guys are lazy and will never put in this work. That's why it's easy to stand out (if you know what you're doing). Great job, man.

Overthinking is a symptom of lack of confidence. Lack of confidence in yourself and your decisions. The first step is to have undeniable confidence. Start by doing this. This takes time to build up but it works. Second, start seeing yourself as a "scientist". See every interaction from every possible angle. Test different approaches. But never beat yourself up over it. Over time, you'll have very sharp decision-making skills for every single social interaction you have. If you fuck up, it's okay…

You must find a way to stay “top of mind”. When someone invites you into their circle, or invites you to a party, they’re essentially saying, “I’m comfortable with you”. Comfort is created from familiarity. I’ve personally had tremendous success using social media (Snapchat) to increase familiarity. If you’re a new guy reading this, there’s a caveat. Which is, you must first learn how to take the “pussy off the pedestal”, before you can successfully put it back on. I’ve seen guys who are incredibly good at making others feel special, warm, and enlightened. And they do it intentionally. And it works. But it doesn’t come from a place of weakness. It comes from a place that says, “Hey, I’ve got all my shit together, and I don’t need anyone’s attention or validation. So I’m gonna make sure you …

Lower your standard for success. Not everything you say has to be funny, relevant, or interesting. Just say whatever comes to instinct first and then roll with it. Women standards are not that high and you don't need to improve yourself. Do you notice the invisible script? "If you want to better or improve yourself, it's bad, because you're just trying to impress others." Women date all types of people. People date all types of people. Does that mean you shouldn't want to work on yourself? Probably not. But I think the angle you decided to come at this with is interesting.

Here was my go-to formula that worked well. Keep it simple. Not meant to be overthought: First date = casual drinks at a bar. Building rapport & getting to know each other. Relatively low pressure. Second date = drinks again, this time in a social environment with friends. Evaluate how she is with others and if she’s a cool, down to earth person. If you made it this far, chances are she’s interested in you (also not a bad idea to try moving things forward at this stage). Third date = something t…

I think the 40 date thing is outrageous and not everyone has to strive for that. (In my situation, I was new to the city + recently dumped. I was EAGER to put myself out there & meet new people). If you want to strive for same results, then no, it won’t be easy. Even for a good looking guy. The fruits in this game go to the guy who puts effort into his looks, style, life, personality, etc. Problem is that is a lot for some guys to juggle with.

I always encourage people to do both. Online game really sharpens up your text game, comebacks, and wit. In person sharpens confidence and courage. Check out this data on how online dating has changed the game within the last 10 years alone. Love this post. Very contrarian to the, "Oh, Tinder is broken and strongly biased against the average guy", stuff I see around the internet. If anyone puts as much effort into their profile, messaging, and work... They will succeed. It does take work. But the bar is so low (compared to the lazy fellas who think it's just about putting a profile up and waiting for results to come), that it can be easy to differentiate yourself from the crowd.

No need to be pushing my personality onto everyone at all times (because that will repel a lot of people, as well, and you might in return say, "Oh, well, I'm just being myself and that's all that matters"). I'd argue that if you're conscious of your behaviors, it's not pretending. It's awareness. He's making himself a more appealing person to be around by dropping behavior that doesn't serve him + adapting behaviors that mean well. You can't do this without a certain level of self-awareness. No self-awareness = no growth.

I was struggling with the same thing in early 2016. I had just moved to San Francisco and a lot of girls I was meeting were interested - but busy - so we usually had to schedule drinks in advance. What I ended up doing was supplementing my texting with social media. Specifically, Snapchat. There’s some truth behind that. I’m not going to treat the homies the same way I would treat a girl I’m into romantically. But the foundation is the same, which is, you’ve got to be likable. If you aren’t likable, everything else falls flat and doesn’t work (kino, witty text game, push/pull, teasing, etc).

Being likable is probably the single most important thing in pickup and dating. If I could give anyone advice on how to improve their dating life, I'd say, "be likable". When you strip down all the tactics and philosophies out there, it all strips down to being a likable person. That's it. FYI: I recently started a blog that talks more about this kind of stuff: Socialite Magazine.

Here's the best relationship I'd give anyone, based on 3+ LTRs: Have a backbone If she does something that bothers you or disrespects you, call it out. Boundaries are exceptionally important in a relationship. Don't worry about being a dominant asshole. Have fun, be vulnerable, and establish boundaries as needed. This alone will make your relationship 100x better.

Agreed. Furthermore, to play the devil's advocate, I'm curious why people are still overly focused on texting. Today, there are mediums like Snapchat or Instagram stories that offer richer, more interactive means of communicating with photos. Nowadays, there many experts (first who comes to mind is Playingfire.com) who specialize in dating apps game. Research them. Second, pay the premiums. Tinder and Bumble are tough. You can expect 1/10 girls to turn into a date. You should never overly rely on Tinder or Bumble for dates. Instead, use it as part of your overall "stack". What's not easy is taking your time, being patient, and understanding the vibe of the whole situation at hand.

It's math. Being direct + not acknowledging the other person's reaction = creepy. Being direct + reading the other person + knowing when to slow things down = welcomed. You have to learn how to read the person and acknowledge when you might be making them uncomfortable. It's a courtship dance. Know when to push, know when to pull.

When girls know they have a boundary they cannot cross, they'll have fun with it. When they've got a boyfriend, they know the worst thing that can happen is "just flirting". It's like the kid who taunts you across the fence at the playground. He know's he can get away with it because they're a fence in between you too. Same thing with girls who have boyfriends. There is a clear boundary that cannot be crossed, so they'll have fun with it.

I never condone chasing girls who have boyfriends. First, it's a dead-end. She's emotionally unavailable. As a leader, you have to know when to cut your losses. Second, I follow the bro-code. I respect the fellow man. I treat others how I'd like to be treated. If I don't want some jabroni sliding into my girl's DMs, why would I do the same? It's all about having standards and following some rules of decency for yourself. It's the respectable, high-value thing to do. Others will admire you for th…

In relationships and social life, yes, women seem to appreciate leadership and decisiveness. (Honestly, guys honor it too) The key is to not come off like a fucking pushy asshole. Show leadership and decisiveness, but also be aware of other people’s feelings. FYI: I recently started a blog that talks more about this kind of stuff: Socialite Magazine.

When I moved to San Francisco two years ago, I knew nobody. All my friends lived hours away, so I was starting from scratch. On top of that, I was in a psychotic relationship I had just broken off, so I was also an emotional garbage can. Today, things are much different, and I always have something to do. Here are a few things I did (which I've been sharing with others on Reddit, as well): 1) "Snapchat closed" everyone and anyone I met, even if briefly. 2) Said “yes” to every social situation, n…

Here is my prediction of what will happen in the next year or so. Texting will become obsolete. Instagram or Snapchat will take over as the replacement. Specifically, in the dating and social realm. There is NO NEED to text back and forth “walls of text” with someone when you can be having far richer means of interacting (such as videos, pictures, and selfies on Snapchat or Instagram.) If you’re still relying solely on texting people when it comes to dating, my prediction is you probably have lo…

Thanks for the tag, guys. Quit worrying about “streaks”. They don’t determine shit. Send her a snap based on something you two had a conversation about. Sort of like an insider joke. For example, my crush loves green smoothies (and she posts about them often). So I tried making a smoothie and sent her a pic of it. It sparked a conversation. That conversation led to more comfort and conversations. Which, eventually led to us dating. Do the same. Comment on her stories. Send her snaps about previo…

If she’s your girlfriend, it’s for a reason. You fell for her and she stood out from the crowd. Make her feel different. Call her sexy. Tell her you can’t wait to fuck her and you’ve been on her mind all day. That’s the name of the game in relationships.

Been in a relationship for a year now and it still feels like the first date. If you know your girl can leave at any time (which she can), you’ll stay sharp. Be very openly sexual and explicit. She’ll appreciate it. Girls want to be desired just as much as you want to be desired.

Love this dude, thanks for providing value. I disagree with this one point in regards to relationships: If trust is broken, it will never be repaired. It will always be in the back of either persons head no matter what and it's best to just end it. Definitely, have a backbone, but don't always make it about "breaking up". In a relationship, there will be a few slip-ups that temporarily break trust. This happens on both sides. I've learned that relationships shouldn't be like "walking on eggshell…

It's good if you're just starting off and if you haven't developed your own personality, yet. The method allows you to rely on routines, tactics, etc without needing to think too much about the interaction. Over time, as you get better, you find yourself needing to rely less and less on tactics or routines. That's when you can begin "just doing you" and find same levels of success (if not better).

I'll answer each question individually. Committing ~30-minutes a week is a small price to pay for something that will have a potentially big impact on your social life. Why do you believe that's a problem for you? There is no single piece of advice that is going to work for everyone. "Leverage social media" = Use social media. Comment on people's stuff. For social situations, it can be anything. Happy hour after work? Go to it, even if you don’t feel like it. Date that you’re not particularly excited about? Go anyway. This happened to me on a first date. Some cholo came up to my girl and he couldn’t pick up the social cues that her and I were together that night. I think what will help you (that A LOT of guys don't do) is just having fun and getting to know them. As quickly as you see things going well, go for the Snapchat close. You don't need to swing for the fences right away, as most guys do. On Tinder, if you take your time and don't ask for anything, you'll actually separate yourself from the bunch. This goes against most traditional pickup advice (be assertive! go for the close!) but online game is an entirely different beast.

Assuming she's just a "chatting buddy" or not, I'm not sure anyone would be compelled to say "yes" to that offer. Try something a little more social and fun next time (I.e., grabbing drinks with friends, bowling with friends, studying together, grabbing a bite to eat, etc).

As someone just starting off and aspiring to get better with women, you will get a lot more “no” answers than you will get “yes” answers. If the inevitability of those “no” responses demotivates you, you need to start looking at the “no” a little differently.

I recently published the top psychological mindsets I have that help me get results. My beginnings were similar to yours except I grew up too skinny (I was called a "stick" and bullied from age 5-16). It does take time to rewire your way of thinking so above all be patient with yourself.

Now, I've recently started a new job that pays minimum wage. Meaning I don't have the financial comfort of living alone just yet. Logistics arent an issue, banging girls in my parents house is not a problem either. Only issue is the possibility of girls finding this as a turn-off and if they'd ever question why exactly I still live at home. Stay home. Save up. And put yourself in a better financial situation. You have to think long-term here and look past what girls might think for now. Girls wi…

I agree, my Snapchat name is atrocious. Nobody will disagree with you on that, lol. For some background: I was going on about a date a week at the time. Some of these dates were second, third, and fourth dates. None of it was monotonous or felt like a "time suck". I was new to the city, freshly single after a bad breakup.. so I was eager to go out and try new things again. It was an extremely valuable period of my life.

Upvoted for visibility. Can you elaborate what made her flaking "rude"? I can understand it being rude after the 3rd of 4th time flaking. But this seems like it was an isolated incident where the girl simply forgot to text him letting him know she was there. In which case, anything could have happened. Love this video - someone from my Facebook group shared it with me today. I unknowingly applied the same concepts of this video to my Snapchat Guide to Game. People love stories and they feel much more emotion through them. This is why I tell guys to have a beginning, middle, and end to every snapchat story they create. It's worth the effort. I'm on a bus home from a solo night out Why do people do this? I don't understand the justification for going out alone. Going out is meant to be fun and full of laughter with friends. Every guy feels that way: "I don't like texting as a means to get to know someone - much prefer talking or in person". Including myself. But understand the girl doesn't feel that way. She's going to want to feel a lot more familiar with you before she ever decides to hang out with you. Most of the time that you immediately go for the date, you'll get ghosted. You do whatever feels right for you but just have that in mind.
/r/seduction08/03/17 02:23 PM

Why don't you try to get to know first, instead? Then ask for the date. See if she's even your type. I don't understand the rush behind asking for the date immediately. She probably thinks you're too eager.

Personally, I just like to get to know the girl on the first date. Call me old fashioned. Hell, you can even call me a pussy. But on the first date, I don't even make any moves. I just crack jokes, self-amuse, ask good questions, and have fun. That's it. Ironically, this lack of escalation always leads to a second and third date. Your call. But don't be surprised when a girl doesn't go on the second date because you went in way too hard the first time.

That's probably one of the best mindsets to have. I think the whole idea of going out to "practice" your approach, negging, etc. is a little unnatural and uncomfortable. Asking a girl out should be a nonevent. In other words, if you spend enough time building a relationship with them and establishing familiarity, asking them out is a mere triviality. Of course they will say yes. A lot of guys overly focus on the last part, though. Which is asking them out or going for the "close". Girls love attention on social media. The more followers, the better. They have dozens of guys request to follow them each day. They don't know any of these guys and 95% of the time have never met them. You would fall under that category the moment you follow them too. I'm not sure which "rapport materials" or "triggers" you're referring to in your post, so I'm just going to omit that here. My suggestion to you is to take it slower. Have you ever considered that the person on the other end might feel like you're moving forward too quickly? Focus more on relationship building. Take it slow. Just because you sent a few back and forth Tinder messages doesn't mean a person will agree to your date. People take warming up. It isn't the "line" you're using that's holding you back, it's your behavior.

"Sexual market value". Just look at it as social value, essentially. Or how cool you're perceived in the eyes of others.

Step 1: Start asking everyone you meet and vibe with in real life/tinder if they have Snapchat. Add them. Step 2: Post good stories of your life, hobbies, etc. People will respond to them. Step 3: Start replying to people's stories as well and sparking conversations with others. Step 4. Repeat. After you've built enough social value, you will get invited to places or people will be more open to hanging out.

I love this. A lot of guys completely oversee social media as part of their overall dating and social strategy. You aren't going to be in college and have access to a wealth of people forever. Start adding people on Snapchat, Facebook, or Linkedin. It pays HUGE dividends down the line. Invest in your social circle as much as you invest in pickup and you will be AMAZED by how much of the work will be done for you. FYI: I recently started a blog that talks more about this kind of stuff: Socialite …

Again, great mindset in taking the long-term approach. You know you're going to see her again inevitably so you're no worried about rushing it. Keep it up man. Would love to see some more progress!

Great mini-FR. Do I think you could have done better by suggesting to hang out with her at some point? Yes. But assuming someone new is reading this post - this is a classic example of holding the "Im the prize" mindset in a way that's light hearted and funny. A lot of guys can take this mindset too far and come off way too cocky (and push people away). Great job dude, thanks for sharing.

I'm not going to tell you what to say but I will tell you how to respond to shit tests: Misinterpret. Exaggerate. Completely ignore. Do one of these and you can pass it. Learned this directly from Todd, in person, and it had never failed me.

When you're texting way more than she's texting you. But if she's equally responsive and engaged, you're fine.

I'm always a little iffy about inviting girls over to come over directly, especially on just the second date. It may be a smoother transition if you meet elsewhere, near your place, then invite her over after for the views. Regardless, congratulations on the first date, because most guys end up killing it due to over escalating. You played it safe and now get to reap the rewards (wait, you can play it safe and eat your cake too!? Yup).

Whats going to fuck you up isn't the "cursing". It's going to be the lack of social awareness to those around you.

The reason why I love his system so much is because it is for regular, average people. I worked 60 hours a week, 9-5 so I didn't really have the time to go on tons of dates, approach dozens of girls, or always be out at clubs/bars. Yet, because I knew how to leverage Snapchat, I was still able to have a thriving social and dating life, despite living a fairly average and normal life.

I've organically met girls through work, social circle, and while out with friends. However, I also proactively put 1-3 hours a week to online dating or approaching just to keep things fun. None of my results, however, would have succeeded if I didn't become a well-rounded person who had hobbies and interests of his own. So also definitely invest in yourself.

If you'd like to learn how to banter and be more playful, I highly encourage you to enroll in an improv 101 class. This will teach you how to be more playful and banter.

Ignore the "guru" title to my username. It's a hilariously inaccurate username. I'm a completely average dude who leveraged Snapchat to improve his social life - that's it. I share my findings from the past year here. Thanks for the two cents - not many will put in the effort you did for feedback like this.

In my experience, not a lot of people are messaging others or commenting on stories. Many people are lurkers on Snapchat; they don't post many stories themselves nor comment on a story. It can be very similar to Reddit in this aspect. You will find exceptions to this statement, for sure, so take it with a grain of salt as it's only my experience. Furthermore, the majority of people who do post stories aren't posting in an engaging manner (read Part 1 of the Guide). Instead, they post one-off pho…

This means you were already applying parts 2-5 to some capacity. And that's great. What's obvious to some may not be so obvious to others, and I wanted to make sure I was addressing how to take an interaction from beginning to end. From the moment you add someone on Snapchat to the moment you want to see them again.

The last two sentences is exactly what this is. I appreciate you calling that out and the quote "you are great but here's how more people can see that" is what Snapchat can do for you if applied correctly. Thats all the guide is in a nutshell.

Best summary of all the lessons I've read thus far. I will be giving more examples of stories anyone can do, but don't get stuck on the idea of them having to be clever. Over the weekend, I got great stories of someone getting surgery on their toe, a person prepping for the storm (setting up sand bags and cleaning the roof gutters), and someone going back to college after the break. On the surface these might seem boring but people make them interesting by applying the beginning, middle, and end…

You (and anyone who relates with your post) desperately need to read No More Mr Nice Guy. Now. The author addresses all of your questions better than anyone here could. After you read the book, it'd be great to hear back from you and your progress.

I finally got my shit together, and I am doing the things that are truly important to me, damn I was finally looking at the things that actually matter. This is also addressed in Mark Manson's new book, The Art of Not Giving a Fuck. I highly recommend the book if you find yourself overreactive or putting too much emphasis on things that don't matter. This book will hit you hard.

Live a productive, well-rounded life so that you have far more to look forward to than just your date. People put far too much pressure on first dates not realizing they are actually just opportunities to be yourself, have fun, and not worry about an outcome. Great things hardly happen on the first date, so just have fun and quit worrying about the outcome! FYI: I recently started a blog that talks more about this kind of stuff: Socialite Magazine.

You don't (and I mean that in the most helpful way possible). Quick example. A goal of mine is to get a raise at work (let's say $10,000 raise by end of year). I cannot control the dollar value I'll end up getting. That's up to my Director to decide and economic circumstances of the company. However, I can control my negotiation skills (by practicing), my professional skills (by making sure I always do a great job), and my networking skills (so I'm always on great terms with my bosses). Manson w…

I actually just posted about this on my Snapchat story and lots of people found it valuable. Everyone talks about what they want in 2017, but they don't talk about how they're going to get it. With that said, I do have one suggestion and it's this: hold yourself accountable You can do this by: Tracking progress (keep a journal + vision board). Maintain a routine/system (buy a journal + a daily to-do list). Download productivity app, Way of Life (habit tracker). What are your thoughts on this? Gr…

So true. By the way, if anyone is looking to make any investments, I'd recommend RSD Todd's 30 day challenge to approaching, which can be found in his Valentine University course. I took it and it helped me with approaching and opening people (I started with from zero).

As someone who went through a big breakup in the beginning of 2016 and essentially had to start from nothing again, here my take: 1) Take action. Small steps, over and over. Slowly pushing you comfort zone over time. 2) Read and learn. Buy a course (RSD offers most diverse set of products, to my knowledge). Reflect and keep a journal. 3) And most importantly, don't be too hard on yourself. Be patient and kind, give kudos to yourself for even trying. Beating yourself up along this process can be …

Yo! great question. it's not going to work well and here is why: you've got no social capital with her. build some value with these girls via tinder and then go ahead and message them on instagram. i understand where you're coming from with this message and it's great that you're trying to be empathetic in your approach. but empathy won't replace social capital. build social capital first, then you can go ahead and ask for a drink. hope this helps.
