I went through a breakup 8 weeks ago.
It was a 2-year relationship. And it was my 3rd LTR.
And let me tell you. IT DOESN'T GET EASIER.
But I do know the cycles of a breakup. I know what works. And what doesn’t. I know how to rebound successfully (or make things worse for myself).
Here’s what’s initially going to happen: you’re going to want to get back out and fuck tons of girls.
You say to yourself, “This will make me confident again! It’ll prove I’ve got ‘game’. It’ll prove I’m cool.”
But that shit begins to feel shallow after a while. It doesn’t fulfill you. And you realize you’ve been wasting your time on strange girls you don’t even know. Furthermore, you never learn how to develop core-confidence without someone there to validate you or give you attention. You will lack conviction.
Here’s the best thing to do: Go out. Make new friends. Take a solo hike. Read a book. Work harder than ever. Hit the gym. Eat healthy. Keep a journal. Jog often. Pickup a hobby. Develop an awesome, big ass social circle with new friends. Talk to everyone. Be eccentric. Develop a NEW, better you.
But hold off on the fucking. Don’t hook up or date anyone new. Learn to be confident, alone. Without having someone there to validate you.
Trust, that’s the right path. It really is. You’ll develop some SERIOUS confidence. After 2-3 months.. man. You’ll be someone different. More powerful. BETTER! The world won’t be ready for you.
Believe that.
