if you're talking about relationship, yes. It doesn't have to get in the way but most of the time, it does (I'm an engineering student). Hooking up doesn't have to if you schedule well.

Statistically speaking, most of your friends are probably beta's who don't have the confidence, communication and just plain character needed for a great relationship.

So it is no surprise that they feel their relationships are draining.

I'm pretty confident you can be successful in both, but you'll have to set the relationship to work around your school, not the other way around.

Most girls wouldn't be willing to do that for AFC's, but you shouldn't have any problems as a successful PUA

It is possible but you are going to have to have GREAT work ethic/time management and sacrifice some things. For instance you might have to give up your 6-hour video game sprees on friday nights or whatever.

I am a college student and I have maintained a 3.1 gpa (not amazing but could be a lot worse) while working 3 nights a week at a restaraunt and still managing to keep my fridays completely open to go out and have a social life, and still getting out 1 other night when possible(thursday or saturday). Not necessarily easy to do all 3, but definitely possible.

I was an AFC ~1yr ago before I started getting out and making a conscious effort to improve with women. Just remember your priorities: Women, School & Work. When my job schedules me on friday nights I flip out and usually remind them right away that I don't want to work fridays. Its important to protect the social life that I have. As far as school goes, you gotta make sure you have time to get work done and study enough before tests. That means not working 5 nights a week. Work: just make sure they know that you need 1 weekend night off, and that's your night to go out. Sometimes I still get out somewhere local after work on a saturday around midnight, but I just can't travel the distance in time to my preferred hangout that I go to on fridays.

Results: 1 year later I've gone from complete AFC to several make outs, phone numbers, a lot of confidence, etc, (no lays yet but have come a longggg way). The GPA is directly related to how much time you dedicate to it. With my current situation I put in a good amount of effort to maintain what I have. So you'd either have to work less or party less, and I doubt you'll choose partying less if you're trying to improve your women skills.

So as a Waiter making $3-400 a week from 3 nights of work, keeping a decent GPA and having the success with women that I've had so far I'd say I'm balancing everything pretty damn good right now. Good luck to you.
