Let's get a few things out of the way first: yes, we went to see the movie, yes, there was some LMR for the movie itself, and no, I did not fuck her.

Now onto the sticky stuff: my game was shot. Not totally; I picked it up later, did some teasing, initiated some really light kino, and, well, friendzoned her. Which is cool because now I have a chick flick buddy to chill with and I also got to know that one girl who works around where I live.

I grabbed her at her work towards the end of her shift and had to deal with some LMR for the movie. I guess she really didn't want to go at first but we had a great time still. I pushed through the LMR and snagged some tickets for us. The movie was starting in an hour so we had some time to talk around a dead mall.

As I was saying, my game was shot. I'm not sure why; before I headed out to pick her up, I was feeling a bit anxious, but I eased it up and out of my system for the most part. I wasn't feeling very anxious when I spoke either but what I said was strange. She called me weird once or twice, which is a big indicator for me on how I'm doing, so I don't think it went very well at first.

I was putting on a cocky outlook on things and I used a qualification line early on with her. I told her she had a good smile but her personality was shot. It perked her ears up and I told her to express herself in three words or less. She gave me a simple and concrete no. Even with her rejecting my qualification, as I got to know her, I fit what she was telling me about herself into it. For example, she told me she was bad with directions and I told her that that was one thing that described her.

Anyways, I did a lot of talking about random topics and it felt like I was interviewing her at some points. She was flipping her hair a lot and although her body language wasn't closed, she wasn't verbally opening up to me. Something I definitely need to improve on is my physical communication; I often sat pretty distant from her.

I teased her quite a bit and she responded by giving me light punches on the arm. It felt relieving to know that she was opening up to me in that way and I found she became more talkative after that.

So we finally caught the movie. She initiated some more kino with me - light punches, shaking my arm when a cute guy was on screen, fighting me for the arm rest - I noticed she was leaning in towards me.

She told me she had a boyfriend fairly early on and I made my intentions clear. I really didn't want to sleep with her but I just wanted to get to know her. And I actually believed that. I'm glad to have met her because now I have a cool chick flick movie buddy.

Iunno what shot down my game Seddit but it definitely picked up later and it was all k. Tell me what you think though.
