I started college this monday. Today I went to one of my classes and a cute girl sat next to me. After some minutes of debating whether I should talk to her or not I decided to do so. It wasn't anything special, just small talking about the classes and all that shit. I knew for a fact that one of my friends already signed for that class but I was hoping for him not to show up today. He eventually did, a little late, he sat behind me. I couldn't talk to her because the idea of him listening to our converstation discomforted me. I didn't talk to her for the rest of the class. Is there a way to stop this? Or is it understandable to feel awkward when an acquaitance is listening?
