Agreed. Games are something we all play. But sometimes when people say "games" they are thinking of something other than what they do.

The best approach is to NOT point out the fact that they are full of shit. Doesn't get you very far.

It's not so much that they're lying when they say what they want, it's more they don't know. PUA's target the women's animal brain, this is a part of people which literally does not know rational thought.

Don't get me wrong, I know how that situation sucks and I feel for you... But you realize that this is very weak evidence for the hypothesis that they all play games? The alternative explanation is that maybe she wasn't interested even without any influence of games.

Mind you, I've had zero success so far, but going 100% cynical based on inconclusive evidence is too easy and probably isn't very healthy :)

Yes. This is completely true. However, let me translate woman-speak for you, for a second.

"I hate playing games, its not a game, etc" = I need to feel that you are sincere. I don't want someone who is out to play me/manipulate me/use me, I want someone who is open and willing to care.

It's still a game. But "game" to her suggests manipulation, whereas to those of us who actually know what game is, it's simply social competence. You can be sincere and also play the game well.

Also, the word "game" is a little bit problematic, because, games have rules and predictable outcomes. Theoretically, if you master a certain game, such as chess, you should be able to win against lesser opponents reliably, and every loss can be traced to a specific mistake.

I think this leads to a mentality of "if I play the game right, I'll always win the girl" or "if I fail to attract her, I played the game wrong". Not necessarily true. Personal preference and tastes comes into play here too, a girl might just not ever respond to you no matter how well you play it.
