Well first off, if this is a first date with her you've automatically put herself above you by agreeing to pay for her. Dinner and a movie is never a good idea for a first date.

So unless you call it off, looks like you'll be paying for her dating ass, getting no ass, and leaving home to your hand. But besides paying for nothing, I don't see the problem. You've dug your grave, might as well have fun and make her see the sexiest side of you, and if she is dating this guy, whenever it ends, she'll remember that bitchin' date you had.

I am paying for her ticket and dinner, so this isn't exactly going to be a cheap date.

Mistake #1, never spend a lot of money on a first date, $10-$20 max, if you can do it for less, go for it.

Mistake #2, caring about whether or not she has a boyfriend. Who gives a shit if she has a boyfriend, she's not married and she doesn't have kids with this guy, so what if she hooks up with you. Maybe he things she's his girlfriend and she doesn't. Who the fuck cares?

What really concerns me is that your spending all this money on this girl. If you spend a bunch of money on a woman you barely know, she'll get suspicious and think that you don't have any real value and are spending this money in an effort to conceal your lack of value.

So here's what I would do if I were you: you've already scheduled the date, and I'm assuming you've already spent the cash on the tickets. Take her out, have a good time, don't even mention the boyfriend. Game her, and take it as far as you want to. Tease her, get sexual with her, do whatever the fuck you feel like doing. If it all blows up in your face and she ends up giving you the "I have a boyfriend" excuse when you try to escalate, then consider this a hard earned lesson not to spend a bunch of money on women you barely know.

Mate, if she does have a bf, she's not looking to stay with him judging by the way she's acting with you. It's irrelevant. Fuck all this shit about it being too expensive, do what you want, but own it. You know you can make this shit amazing for her, give it a go. Don't get bothered about the outcome.

For what it's worth, it sounds like he's more of an orbiter / "stand in boyfriend" than a serious boyfriend. If she just called him a "good friend" and her facebook status says "single" she isn't taking him seriously. She probably has the "Tester" personality type (See Vin DiCarlo's "Pandora's Box" program for more on what that means) and "dates" lots of guys simultaneously. IOW, she's a female "player." Don't fall in love with this girl, just take her out, fuck her brains out and have as much fun with her as you can, but don't be surprised if she's nailing a few other guys at the same time, and never decides to "settle down" until the biological clock thing forces her hand. Or she meets a guy who just blows her away.

So, if she brings up the boyfriend, just ignore it, and make it clear that you consider it irrelevant.

There's all sorts of stuff you can do with that... boyfriend destroyer patterns, sleight of mouth stuff, reframing, whatever.

It might be as simple as giving her a seductive smile, saying "But.. I'm always allowed what I desire" and taking her hand and leading her to (your car | your apartment | whatever). Don't try to force her to verbalize her agreement; and try to avoid her getting her rational / conscious decision making process involved. She wants to be able to rationalize things later as "It just happened, it's his fault, he swept me off my feet," etc.
