It's completely normal to have crushes on people while your still in a relationship. You're still human and you've got blood pumping through your veins.

Once when I was talking to my gamer buddies on ventrilo, one guy had a really sexy british accent, my wife came and sat down beside me just to listen to him. So yeah, it's common.

As to curbing it... ummm... dunno about that. Do you fell like you're going to cheat on your SO? Is the feeling too powerful to ignore?

I'm not sure you're going to get the best advice in this subreddit. r/sex or r/relationshipadvice or even r/fetish may be better.

I suspect here your advice will be mostly along the lines of "break up with him and find a limey" or "watch more hugh grant porn" or "think of russell brand while you're banging him" or "PM me!" :)

Go watch the movie "A Fish Called Wanda" to get an idea of how ridiculous this is. You obviously are attracted to some things more than you're attracted to foreign accents, since your bf doesn't have one.

Women are such dopes when it comes to accents. A woman will fall for a really low class British accent and think it's posh, just because it's foreign.
