Don't ask too many questions, just keep making comments about the things she says. Make it anecdotel if you can, like a story. Then let her comment about it.

I try not to ask too many questions as it seems like you're too desperate to get to know her.

edit: and i usually don't really want to hear about boring shit like her school.

Yes, you bored her... and, to be frank, you're boring us too. You can't expect to have your hand held through every interaction with a female. Go read some basic PUA material (see "new to this subreddit" in the sidebar). And a personal recommendation: go to youtube and watch some videos by David Wygant and Wayne "Juggler" Elise. There's lots of good ones.

you won't build attraction, and you'll come across as either too in to her, or as someone who has nothing better to do than to sit at home on the computer and talk to people on the internet.

get her frickin' number already, jesus christ.
