Where are you located? Or well, just would hiking and/or camping be an option? Great for you on both a physical and mental level. And if you're not focused on high-maintenance city girls, you'll learn great places and skills to take girls on adventures.

Nah, go with your instincts. Unless you're chatting up someone at business-related event, and use it as a way to exchange contact info, it's way too likely to come off as cheesy.

You're doing awesome! Keep at it. Sometimes people have their own shit going on and it has nothing to do with you. The more quickly you can let interactions like that one roll off your back, the better your game will get.

Of course having a good job has a lot of benefits. But, from your clarification, it sounds like something like "have a fulfilling life" might have expressed what you meant better. A "good job" tends to sound like just one where someone pulls a nice salary.

Women like the OP just perpetuates this idea that all women are frail insecure individuals who must be protected by the prince charmings all around. Yes. Another thing at play here is that women who value these perceived societal expectations and let them have significant influence over their self-esteem, have also been heavily influenced by an unrealistic perception of men and their heads are full of expectations based on the hollywood ideal of romantic/sexual relationships. Too many women are …

Hehe. I wasn't even denying that there are different perspectives. It just almost seemed bad reddiquette not to ask when he so loudly proclaimed to have a fact, and I was curious what he'd come up with. I was not disappointed. ;)

Ok, fuck you pics. Nice. Obviously you're not up for any productive discussion. Actually, as you noticed, my username identifies me as a lesbian, the purpose of that is to allow people to take my perspective into consideration when reading my posts. If you don't like my opinion, downvote it. But, to tell me I can't say anything is absurd and pointless.

Wouldn't it make more sense for you to have spent more time in here learning what we are about first. I think if she had, she might have noticed that most of the guys here aren't slick, experienced PUAs, rather lonely guys who have their own insecurities to deal with. Then she talks about how men are responsible for women feeling insecure, all the while giving these guys more reasons to doubt themselves. So, it's ok for women to feed men's insecurities, but when someone does the same to them it'…

YOUR STATEMENT IS MASSIVELY DEROGATORY TO, AND OBJECTIFYING OF WOMEN, why in your view are women so fragile, and naive and incapable of navigating a world of adult relationships? I'm so glad to see someone else saying this here. It's the main problem with posts this one. She's pleading for special treatment, not trying to offer any real insight into anything. She's complaining about how men make women insecure, while posting in a forum full of mostly insecure, lonely guys, many of whom are that …

Haha, I am getting a lot of downvotes for my comments in this thread. Women like the OP annoy me more than sexist men because they are perpetuating sexism against their own gender. They don't give women credit for being intelligent individuals that can think for themselves. They lump us all into insecure little girls that don't have the confidence or ability to take care of ourselves. That's some serious bullshit.

Now, there's no denying that some men can sleep with a girl and lead her on, make her think she's getting more than a one night stand. And if that seriously affects a woman's self-esteem, as this girl says it does, then it's her problem, and that woman probably needs therapy or something. Posts like this piss me off so much because they are what is really insulting to women. "Oh, we are little insecure things who can't take care of own emotional health and self-esteem, so it's up to men protect …

I'm no expert, but I have personal experience being that girl in the club or bar or whatever, so if you want to tell me I'm wrong or stupid, If you believe all this cosmo, princess, barbie doll shit and let it influence who you are, you are stupid. Actually, your beliefs about women are more insulting to women than the beliefs of most PUAs.

Make me sick how girls like this act like they are speaking for all women. Personally, I prefer a woman smart and confident enough not to buy into all this shit that this girl is talking about.

But because of Hollywood and the way women are portrayed, we grow up with a sense of comparison to that. It's okay to an extent, it gives incentives to take care of yourself. But have you seen the Barbies and Disney Princess dolls that little girls play with, and want to be like so badly? You don't speak for everyone. Not all women give a shit about this stuff.

Hey, thanks, I'm not very active, but still around. Mostly minimal mod duties over on askseddit. pickup4dykes is a bit more active now, couple girls posting stuff, but still very quiet. I think women are just more shy about asking. No wonder really... The advice they get is one form or another of 'be easy', but in reality men people generally like a challenge and value someone more that gives them one.

I think this is the best tactic. You really just have to embrace the friend into your evening. For most people, they will show which one they are interested in wether they realize it or not. So there's no reason to overdo it and make some concentrated effort to single out your target. The friend will pick up on the subtle things, and if you're also keeping a positive relationship with her, be more likely to not cockblock you later. As far as kino goes, I think more less-obvious sexual moves will…

Well, I will be getting an implant. I just have to wait 4 months for the bone reconstruction to heal. They originally told me I could wear a prosthetic tooth, but then when they cut me open, they had to do such major work that he said the prosthetic would mess up the healing. Ugh. It sucks I have to go around looking homeless when I'm spending almost 6 grand to have it done. Well, if I do have a successful night out, you can be assured, I will come and do an FR about it. ;)

Thanks Tofu. I really needed to hear this. I've been in such a rut about going out. First, it was money as an excuse, now it's that I'm missing one of my bottom front teeth for the next 4 months because of some major dental surgery. I dunno what it takes though. You just got to jump in feet first I suppose. I sure would like to have a really successful night while I'm missing this tooth. Every and then, let them know how you feel, but realize that the greatest love stories have their silent moments before a big kiss. So should your emotions. It means more meaningful to restrain your adoration and employ it at key moments, then to dish it out 24/7 Ooooh, this is really good! My socially-retarded brain and intimacy-starved heart might even be able to understand that and turn it into something useful. Thanks! :)

The more I think about it, the more I think it could help me be better at my job. Probably doesn't look bad on the CV either. If you can accept losing a girl, you can get away with feeling 'itis. I like your way of thinking about it. Maybe I should be more proud of the women I've had (I usually don't pedestal girls without at least sleeping with them.) and lost. There have been some pretty fucking amazing ones, and most of the best of them I'm proud to call my friends. And we joke about hooking up, keep sexual tension. It's healthy I think, it keeps us aware of those kind of dynamics with other people as well. I think …

I see your point there, and I don't really doubt it's factuality, but I think there's a little flexibility in sayings like that and think people often are defining them slightly differently in non-acedemic conversations. But, anyway, as far as my example goes... I perhaps should have mentioned she didn't say this when we were hooking up but afterwards. That's when I erected the pedestal and lost my chance with her. It's both sad and funny that the time I chose to do that was literally days after…

It sure is! I'm really grateful to this girl for opening my eyes a bit about how what I was doing affects other people. I tend to only focus on how it affects me. We're still really tight friends by the way. Once in a while my heart will twitch a little for her, but it doesn't feel like oneitis anymore. I think bouncing around the friendship-romance-sex triad is a bit easier for lesbians. I'm used to being a bit attracted to some of my friends or having them be a bit attracted to me. It comes an…

I'd describe it more like idealizing someone to the point that you are more in love with (or in awe of, doesn't have to romantic) your fantasy than them. It's about having expectations that could never be filled in reality.

Yep, she is a really cool, straight-forward kind of girl. I wish there were more like her. She was a keeper, we actually dated for a bit, but I totally blew it. But, learned some very good lessons from her, including that this type of woman won't put up with much bullshit at all. You need to have pretty tight game.

It doesn't matter why she flakes; the way you handle it is the same. Let her initiate making future plans. Let her think you're going to blow her off because she flaked. This is how you can gauge her interest. If she does initiate, don't worry about it. Just go with it. Don't give a fuck about whatever her problem was or what she meant by it. If she doesn't, don't initiate anything yourself. At the most, very casually put it on her to contact you... Not "text me when you're feeling better" more …

I'll oppose popular opinion (so far) and say that I think it is much harder to seem creepy if a guy is particularly good looking. He can get away with staring just a bit longer than an average guy, and staring has a lot to do with seeming creepy. Seeming "creepy" is really all about unwanted attention really. Can't give a girl more than she is really interested in. Guys that come off as creepy are just bad at recognizing IOIs and acting accordingly. Also, I saw a rather good documentary once (ca…

Good point. I think the trick is when you define yourself. I mean if you're out with a girl and define yourself as who you are in the now, by definition, you are not someone who stays inside all day not talking to girls. So, be who you are right now... a guy that IS out doing things, who DOES go out and try to have a good time, someone who MAKES an effort connect with another human being. I mean if you're doing it... that is who you are. Of course, you can define yourself in the past and bring a…

The advice in the article is good, but I think this "be yourself" debate is just a lot of playing with words. It's simply hollow advice that is completely useless unless someone goes into details about how to do it. Then if you go into details, no matter which side of "be yourself" you're on, the reasoning behind the arguments ends up looking pretty much the same. The thing is that if you learn to play your inner game right, you find out that you ARE awesome and you DO have abundance. Once you r…

That's a good one. I'm not surprised it worked. I think going big in the opposite direction of reality is the safest way to go about it if you do it. The nose is good too because it's not a common thing to have a lot of insecurity about without some cause. Your joke is also original and good. It's not something she's heard before. Unlike if you call a very skinny girl fat... at worst you'll piss her off, at best you'll get a 'meh' because she's heard it before.
/r/seduction27/08/11 06:24 PM

Haha. I think what a lot of girls think when I guy says "you should <insert change of appearance>" is that he is trying to make her look like his favorite porn star or ex-gf or someone other than herself, and no woman wants to feel like a replacement. The hair topic just seems pretty risky, I would rather try another angle completely with the neg.
/r/seduction27/08/11 06:18 PM
1

I think your hair would look better up. With this one specifically, I think the problem is you're not giving her a good opening and not making it easy for her to give you a clever reply. How exactly should a girl respond to that? Should she change her hairstyle right there in front of you? Should she explain why she chose to wear it how she did? The only way I can see it working is if you really do have a good, valid suggestion about her hair. Girls do love to talk about their hair. But, well, i…

Well, like the other poster said, just tread carefully. The more you get to know a girl the farther you can take it. You'll learn what areas are hot spots for her. I think it's really important to read body language when you neg a girl and get those clues to tell you if you've gone too far or not. Perhaps I should mention that I think you can get away with teasing a girl about her clothes without insulting her appearance. It still is sensitive though; she did put on those clothes to make herself…

They're suppose to drop an overly high self esteem. Exactly. That's why it's more effective to go after things she has high self esteem about than to pick on her insecurities. You want to make her fight for your approval not feel bad. Otherwise you will just put a girl in a bad mood, and that's the last thing you want to do. You want to make her experience with you feel good because that's what she'll remember the most. I think you have to be one step ahead and consider the outcomes you might ge…

The thing about negs is that you're playing with a girl's insecurity a bit, and that's dangerous territory. I think the trick is to stay away from things they are sincerely very insecure about. And that's pretty much everything related to physical appearance for most girls. Weight especially, even with skinny girls. I think it's far more effective to neg girls about things they are actually good at. So, more behaviors than looks. She might feel defensive, but what's behind that is confidence not…

Hair is one of those topics I'd stay away from. Girls are almost as sensitive about their hair as their weight. Hair is one of those things most girls generally feel like they do right (even if they don't). So, it's usually going to be taken more as an insult not a neg.

But no more of a cunt than the men trying to sleep with as many women as they possibly can for sport. Actually, I would say a bit more of a cunt because you are manipulating them into love, not just sex. That's much worse in my opinion. Plus, shit like just fuels misogyny. Fortunately, most women aren't so purposefully manipulative. And, no, "cunt" seemed about right. The love not just sex thing made me think you deserved something higher on the scale than "bitch". I don't think bartenders give out their phone numbers so easily, and assuming she is decent looking, not incompetent at her job, and the place is busy enough, she already gets good enough tips and wouldn't bother spending her time texting random guys. I'd say go for it, but proceed cautiously, if she's an 8, treat her like a 9 or a 10 (be even less needy, give her even less attention. Ah, thanks for the reply intjpua. I always enjoy your insights. I think you are on target as usual. You're giving a lot of excuses for why the normal guidelines don't apply to you. Yes, I do this. While I do think there is some truth that game between lesbians has some different nuances, I have been using it far too much as an excuse. It was exactly that type of thought that got me to click that send button. Stay on your meds. Don't fuck around with your mental health. I know. I'm usually quite …

Thanks. I'm quite sure you're right and am going to do my best to play it that type of way. I just have to not get overwhelmed with missing her in my life. As far as my participation on seddit, I just haven't been around much. There isn't much going on over at pickup4dykes. But, I will probably be around here more now. Things might have gone better if pick-up stuff had been fresher in my mind.

Thanks. :) I hope so. But, I also have this weird feeling that maybe we both need to have a relationship with someone else before each other. Maybe that's the only way we'll be sure and not fuck it up when we get around to it. In any case, if it's going to be anything between us, it will be BIG. But, we have to remain friends first. I need to get myself firmly back into the friendzone as odd as it sounds. That's the only way I'm going to get closer to her now.

Hmm. As a lesbian, I'm either the best person or worst person to answer this. I'm not sure, so I'll keep it short. First, I'll say that I totally get where you're coming from. Even though I'm female it hasn't stopped me from hating on women in general. May sound weird, but it's true. We really are pains in the ass. Second, I think it's just a matter of accepting the differences between men and women as just that... differences, not good or bad, just different. Third, Try to remember the things t…

Writing an email, on the grand scheme of things, is not really that bad. The thing about email is that it's permanent. They can go read it again. Recall everything perfectly. When you just say something, the clear memory of it fades away. It's not as final as writing. It turns out what you and I think are worse are orders of magnitude different. Haha. Well, I am prone to exaggeration. But, within the range of semi-normal behavior, my confession was about the worst idea I could go with. Ya know t…

found the two most UNATTRACTIVE qualities of men are poor hygiene Hygiene! It's clothes on a lot of occasions. A shirt isn't clean when it doesn't smell bad. It's dirty once you wear it a whole day/night, even if you didn't sweat that much, sorry. A lot of deodorant doesn't make up for freshly laundered either. The shirt has a lot to do with how you smell, be fresh and clean. Not "passable". Oh, and get those jackets cleaned once in a while. They can smell much grosser than you realize... and gi…

Personally, I'm always truthful. I'm 41 and normally date women in their late-20s and it's rarely an issue. I actually take some pride in the fact that I can still score them. Makes me feel good about myself and shows confidence. Sure, once in a while I get rejected for it, but if a girl doesn't like me for who I really am, I'd rather not get involved with her. I won't be popular for saying this, but I will anyway... Guys don't really want to be picked up by girls nearly as much as they say. In theory, it sounds great; in practice, it feels emasculating.

You go in, girls are already drunk, you find one, and you leave. Yea, it depends on your objective too. You don't have to hang around for hours, about one maybe. If you know the pattern of the club well, then maybe even less. It depends on where you live, but most places get busy here about 2 hours after they open so if you get there about 45 minutes before that, you get a chance to get a good mood going and get comfortable there. Not that hanging at home with your friends before isn't cool... I still do that, but we just get together at 8 nowadays. Lol.
/r/seduction18/03/11 11:29 PM

Ah, ok. I'm lesbian, so mostly go to gay places. It's a lot harder to pick up gay girls, I think. Ha, two women? Neither really usually wants to do the pick-up, it like kids. Weird, really. But, I'm still trying to get over the ego crusher that I have to be the one to do the pick-up to get the kind of girls I want. Ouch. I think we females have a biological preference for being picked-up.
/r/seduction18/03/11 11:24 PM

Yea, totally, just fucking go. Hardly any lines. Even the bouncers haven't had a chance to get grumpy yet usually. Maybe it's an acquired taste, but I've come to love the earlier hours in a club. Haha, but I like the late hours too though. ;) Like I said in another comment, I go out to just party as much as I do to pick-up. I love the girls that want to go to the after-hours party, there's always time to fuck.

I go out to party more than pick-up. Almost all of my best nights out started in some more or less empty place it feels like.

Good post. I think the thing the OP and many "nice" people don't get it is related to this... Be nice only because you genuinely want to be nice, not because you want or expect something in return They will say that they genuinely want to be nice and don't expect anything in return.... but, then they will usually also say something about only treating people how they want to be treated... well, hello, that's an expectation!

Yea, it sucks basically. One reason I got into PUA was my desire to meet women outside of a "designated setting". But, that's pretty advanced. Not only for the irrational fear that she might scream "Eww, lesbian!!!" but because she's not at all expecting you to pick her up, makes things much harder. And then you're not sure if she even wants you too. There's a good 90% chance she's not gay. So, when I've tried it, they always just think I'm being friendly. Kino, kino. I know. But, it's incredibl…

No, not impossible at all. If you think about it, the perfect smile is what separates the incredibly desirable men from the simply desirable. Look at Hollywood... Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Hugh Grant, Mel Gibson. All the most incredibly popular guys can flash these great smiles... and they are most definitely not unpracticed. Practice, practice, practice. People who don't find themselves attractive don't observe themselves in the mirror enough. Most good looking people master their expressions…

I love how all you have to do is smile and guys approach you and buy you drinks. Haha. It's not always like that, and I'm really not that good looking or anything. This should be at the top. It's all in your frame really. I'm pursuing a girl who shit tests left and right, and I'm embarrassed to say that I fuck it up probably 75% of the time. Luckily, I think she's used to people failing even more often than I do.

Good advice. Practice really is everything. I think it needs to be automatic because otherwise you'll just fuck it up too often. Now that's an interesting thought. I was actually just a few minutes ago thinking along the same lines. Maybe it's better right now for her to wonder if she's in the friend zone or not... and hopefully try to get out of it.

Thanks. Maybe it should, but minimal contact probably isn't going to happen here. I'm just making sure that she initiates contact at least as often as I do. If we have the conversation, I kind of have a set-up because our being "just friends" has be come kind of a thing. I've had to swear up and down to mutual friends (who don't want us getting together) that I don't like her as more than a friend. I get what you're saying, but must note that I wouldn't move unless we had a very serious LTR. (I have had a little experience here because I moved to Denmark from the US to be with a girl.) The main reason for my concern here is that I know this girl is very seriously looking for an LTR right now and wants to start a family (so do I)... and seems to have at least a few people interested, some of whom don't live close. Well, I'm the one asking for advice here, but I'll throw in my 2 cents. Personally, I wouldn't say anything like that in an email. It just comes across so intense that way. If it has to be done, I think the phone is the best option because she has to give you a direct reply then and there, and you get to hear her tone of voice etc, and it gives you the opportunity to have a conversation about it. But, that being said, I wouldn't do anything at all if you've only had one date with this girl. She …

I'm 41 and usually sleep with girls in their mid- to late-20s, and I'm proud of the fact that I never, ever lie about my age. I think lying is a chump move. It's assuming something about yourself isn't good enough for her.

Your comment about permission is spot on. Argh, I should have reacted better. I basically just laughed and shook my head at her. But, I'll tell you, this girl is a seriously fiesty one. I'm used to more submissive girls, so this is kinda new to me. I'm trying to figure out how to handle it. She likes to be pursued, and I think I caught her interest during the 3 months she was away after we first met by not offering so much as other people were and leaving it to her to initiate contact more often…

Yea, I agree with that concept and think it's probably the best choice for guys. A guy can get away with saying he doesn't really do chat/text. But, with a girl, you know she's lying if she says that. It's much more unavoidable. I just hope to make the times we do spend together memorable enough that they outshine anything that happens electronically.

Actually, she was a little more specific than "casual", she wants to be falling in love. And she's made up her mind. Plus, the sexual tension wasn't there. We were more just experimenting on how it felt to be flirty and affectionate after this friends thing and to see if we/I really meant it. She was testing me I think, in a couple ways. She wanted to know if I was still attracted to her and if I would respect her wishes and not try to turn it into sex. I think being fun and cozy nailed it reall…

Regarding long-term seduction, another thing I'll be avoiding is flirting much at all via chat/text. I bet she gets that from everyone. Well, I know she does, judging by her Facebook. And she likes it of course, but not too much, she seems cool. If she gets flirting from me, it should mean something and be clear in it's purpose. But, not anything overtly sexual, that's just tacky. Well, don't know if it's going to work, but that's my plan.

Your totally right I think. Honesty is a big issue with me. I am very honest most of the time actually, even when it's hard. But then, almost always out of fear, I let loose a pretty big complicated lie. I want to make this my last one with her.
/r/seduction15/01/11 07:12 PM

Hehe, you guys are so funny. Our dance moves probably weren't really that sexy, more drunken and silly. And all we did was cuddle. But, of course, you can imagine anything you like ;) Thanks for the good wishes, I appreciate it. :)

Yea, you're the second one to say something like that and are probably right. I'll have to work on that. It's hard though because as much as I want an LTR, it scares the crap out of me. I'm battling myself here too. I just want to make sure that she doesn't feel I've built up expectations because of last night. That wouldn't go over well.

(No, not British. I'm American, but I do some copywriting here in Europe where British English is the standard. So, it's becoming a habit.) You may have a point about being able to escalate more. It's hard though because she lives pretty far away, and I don't see her that often. Most of our communication is over chat, so I'm mainly just trying to have us get to know each other better without decreasing the attraction. Now that we've connected more, I may get her on the phone a bit to talk. Hopef…

why not just make yourself a better, more interesting person, and have women (and people in general) be more attracted to you naturally? That's what PUA is to me.

I was just thinking that the way some people here assume all feminists are anti-male is exactly the same as the way some feminists assume all PUAs are misogynists. It's the same bullshit either way!

I would look at it like this... what if you had been in a club instead of a train and the exact same thing happened? It wouldn't be cool for him to assume he could come home with you because you made out with him. What if he tried to follow you home from the club after you said no? That would be creepy. It's basically the same thing. He was a dick.

Well, I'm 41 and generally only sleep with women in their late-20s. In my experience, it's pretty black and white... either a girl cares about it or she doesn't. While I think it's more common that they do care, it's not too hard to find ones that don't. I think social proof matters here quite a bit. When I go out to clubs and stuff, I usually go with much younger friends, and it seems to help a lot. Not just because people assume I'm younger, but I think because they see me socializing and havi…

Your post is a bit weird actually... some sentences I agree with completely, while others I definitely don't. I think maybe your choice of wording is the type that gives people a negative impression of PUA. Remember, she's disposable I think that's a rather harsh, poor way to put it. I see what you are saying though, but I think the concept applies better to primarily sexual relationships than LTRs. But, I do like your next point: She is NOT your world. There are plenty of women out there who are satisfied with their current man. Of course. I didn't say otherwise. To clarify my original comment: I suspect most straight women interested in learning seduction are looking to score (and hang on to) higher value men than they are currently able to and not just looking to get laid.

Sorry it was painful, but you make an excellent good point there!
/r/seduction06/01/11 03:17 AM

No, that wasn't my point. You just said that women who want higher value men are upwardly mobile bitches, and I said that all women want higher value men and then used the fact that DHV works on all women to support my opinion. If both our hypotheses were true then all women would be upwardly mobile bitches, which they are not. So, either you're wrong or I'm wrong. And before you or someone else jumps on my for using the word "all". Well, I mean more like 99.9%, and of course there are exception…

I don't think it has anything to do with being a bitch like that. DHV is one of the most important pick-up techniques and works on essentially all women. And I'm quite sure all women are not "upwardly mobile bitches".

It doesn't have to be that hard. Delete her from facebook and the first time she texts you say "I'm not interested in you.", and never, ever reply to her again no matter what she says. Eventually, she will go away.

I think the problem with this is that there's not a lot of agreement on how well pick-up techniques work on men. Personally, I think there are some pretty big conflicts... for example, most men don't want an alpha female or even someone they see as having higher value than themselves. I also think that asking guys about how they should be seduced is as inaccurate as asking the same of women. Actually, I think straight women would get more beneficial information and discussion by creating their o…

I've actually noticed this a bit too. I think maybe it has to do with that "I'm too old for you" presents kind of a challenge, whereas "You're too young for me." is almost a little insulting, like it's implying she's immature as well. Good question. I'll be curious to read some of the other responses.

I'm sure they do. This girl probably gets hundreds of responses a day. I'd say undoubtably some copy/pastes. I mean, A guy can sit in his dirty underwear, picking his nose and imagine he's got a chance with a chick like this because he found a few seduction tricks online. It's a one in a million shot, but hey... what's he got to lose? It's a step up from porn and online sex chat.

That's cool. I get where you're coming from. I'll just say that I don't really want to do it as badly as I just want someone to do it. The only moderator power that really interests me is the one to update the sidebar! I actually think there is a bit of an issue with me being a moderator because I'm female, and I think maybe if we get a couple popular male candidates who are willing to take the job, they should take priority over myself.
/r/seduction17/12/10 08:19 PM

Yea, I think it's important to do the DQ without teasing them about their age. It's not a flirty "Aw, you're too young for me." It's more of an "Oh crap, you're too young for me."
/r/seduction17/12/10 05:10 PM
1

Yea, the age gap can be a bit wider in the gay world and still be socially acceptable. I think it has to do with judging a couple based on their age feels to close to prejudice, and we're all a bit sick of that.
/r/seduction17/12/10 05:02 PM
4

I don't remember that. But, anyway, age just comes up. Usually, the girls I'm talking with are 10-15+ years younger than me. It's a relevant question and they expect an answer. I don't like to get too funny about it. I find being up front and honest works pretty well for me.

I just want to say I totally get where you're coming from with the idea of a having a female moderator. Believe it or not, I had my own hesitations for similar reasons. I appreciate the community for what it is and know it's primarily a man's game. I respect that and wouldn't want my taking on any responsibilities in the group to throw things of balance in any way. Well, we can always make a Chapter 2 to quazzy's post and put a link to it in the sidebar as well. While I like the idea of a wiki, I think that it might be better to keep in on reddit. Eh, I think you're being a little harsh. He made it clear that this was the first time he tried any of the techniques. He approached a girl he never would have before and managed some chit chat with her. It's very new beginner stuff, but at least it's a start. Most people begin making baby steps. I'd actually call this guy the perfect newbie. He did some studying and went out in the field and gave it a shot then and came back and shared his experience with us without a bunch of whiney questions.

I nominate LesbianPUA to be a new moderator. She's got lots of great ideas, is a frequent and valued contributor, Aw, thanks. :) I've never had the desire to be a moderator before, but value this community a lot and am willing to put in a little effort to make it awesome. I think this is a pretty critical time in the lifecycle of this group. and she apparently only goes sarging once a month so she's got the extra time. Hey!! Quiet, you! :p It's not quite that bad. But, yea, I gotta work on that.
/r/seduction15/12/10 06:19 PM

I think the "new to this subreddit" post is fantastic and very well laid out. I do to. Perhaps I was a little unclear. I don't want to replace it as much as I want to expand upon it. There have been a lot of great posts since it's inception. And, as you also pointed out, quazzy deleted his account so he can't edit it for us. So, we either have to incorporate the material into a new, updated post (and give quazzy due credit) or make a part 2 of some sort.
/r/seduction15/12/10 06:12 PM

Yep, I should have DQed her hard about the age thing. I will do that more in the future regardless of whether they seem into me or not. And, yes, I know it's approval seeking and bad to feel that way about f-closes. One reason I wrote about that was to make myself realise how silly it is.
/r/seduction11/12/10 02:55 PM

You're right on target about the age thing. I generally will only pursue girls 25+. But, I still feel like... Waaaaahhhh, I want ALL the girls to like me! :p

Paragraphs, dude, paragraphs! Haha, looks like you found yourself some lesbian/bi drama. Lucky you. I really don't know what to say. It doesn't sound like your lesbian friend is into it, to be honest. If she was, something would have happened by now I think. Your best bet is to drop it and see if she picks up the ball, so to speak. Sorry I don't have better advice. I do my best to avoid bisexuals.
/r/seduction10/12/10 09:40 PM

While you will surely get some good advice here, you should probably remember that guys aren't experts in what they want, just like women aren't experts in what they want. That being said I don't think it's as bad with men because they are simpler (no offence intended).
/r/seduction10/12/10 09:50 AM

I guess I do a bit. When I go out I very often wear women's fitted formal shirts, usually with French cuffs, with men's neckties. Other lesbians that wear ties always do black skinny ones half undone with a wrinkled white shirt. I do normal width ties tied properly in nice matching colour combinations and would never leave the house in an unironed shirt. Makes me stand out and look more gay than I would in normal clothes. Chick seem to dig it quite a lot.

What an excellent idea. I have learned a lot by replying and participating here instead of just lurking. A beginner who is actively studying and practicing can have a lot to offer. If a beginner does offer some bad advice, there is a very good chance someone more experienced will come along and help out.

Hmm. That is a weird one, especially considering you only slept with her once. I don't know what her angle would be other than being sincerely curious. Anyway, my completely honest response in that situation might be a good one: "I haven't gathered enough data yet to draw a conclusion ;)" Ha, or perhaps a less geeky version of that.

Aw, I love the way you love me. :D I haven't been out in a couple weeks... a combination of nothing going on and this terrible cold I've had. But, I am going for a big night out on friday, so hopefully there will be a field report this weekend. Considering the people who will be at the club friday, there will be a fair share of lesbian drama going on, but hopefully I'll be off chatting up girls instead of dealing with it. Ugh. There is no drama like lesbian drama.

I don't like to speak for "the community" either usually, but I've heard others say almost the same thing enough that I didn't feel like I was overstepping. Plus, I was just frustrated and thought I'd throw it out there to see what kind of response it got. I think you, and most reasonable people, know I didn't mean to say never ask a too specific or very vague question. Sometimes something good can come out of it, but most of the time it doesn't. Lately it just seems like we've been overwhelmed …

Yea, so far Juggler has really impressed me. I plan on following some of his advice about opening sets this friday, really my first chance since getting into him. I've been using his advice about conversation, specifically telling stories, in my everyday life and found it very effective. Even men seem to respond to stories better when they contain more of my feelings and personal experience. He suggests one exercise that I've found really helpful... At the end of your day, take a little time to …

You are not using the same examples I did, and you are trying to twist around what I say. So, far you've equated my saying "this is not AskReddit" to people shouldn't ask questions, and you've taken my clear example and turned it into something vague and asked me to explain it. This is not a productive discussion.
/r/seduction08/12/10 09:37 PM

I didn't say anything about not asking questions. Not at all. It's the types of questions. It's "She wrote me "xyz", how should I reply?" vs. "How do I deal with this type of situation?".

Well, if his main suggestion with conversation is to drink, then it sounds like you should be doing more studying on your own. There's a lot of great material about conversation. I've been studying a lot of Wayne "Juggler" Elise lately and he's got some excellent insights into conversation. Check out this compilation of some of his forum posts. My 2 cents... just leave it alone until you have time. As is often said around here, you can't increase attraction over text/email, but you can easily decrease it. I know from experience this is true. I always blow it with electronic communication, mainly by volunteering too much information. I totally know what you mean about slipping back into that AFC mindset after being successful. But, I think that's because I've offered my respect as well. It always amazes me how many women show men no respect at all but expect respect, and usually a lot, in return. Great. I'm glad I made some sense. Yea, charm them both, but I'll add is that it's important to make it clear who you are interested in. If a beautiful woman is out with a friend who doesn't get approached by men as much as she does, she will do everything she can to hook her friend up, including backing off a guy she likes to give her friend a chance. Women can be pretty sweet like that... the good ones anyway. Never underestimate how loyal a girl will be to her BFFs. In this same vein, I think…

You're welcome! I'm glad you could use it. I think in any situation where someone is experimenting with a gender they usually don't, it's best to get a comfortable dialogue going before jumping in. When a guy is doing kino to a girl, his intentions are clear, and that's part of the point. With girl-on-girl kino it can often be less clear what's going on until it gets overtly sexual. Good luck! :)

When referring to someone in her family, she said something to the effect of: 'My...uh...brother-in-law, I guess'. Chances are this means her boyfriend's brother and that she's practically married. But, of course, there's a chance that's not the case, and you shouldn't give up until you are sure. I would probably try to find a reason related to the project to meet up again and get more personal from there. But, there might be a better tactic... I'll let some other sedditors add their advice.

That's pretty good. I tried something similar once, but the girl was a real smartass. She snatched the bill of my hand, leaned over the bar, waved it at the bartender, and shouted "hey, this woman wants a drink" pointing at me, then handed me my bill back. It was too funny. Teased her about being rude, but I had to laugh. Felt stupid, but still went home with her. And she was a feisty one! ;)

Yes, a good summary. But, as could be expected, no surprises. I think that depends on the student. I'm up for anything really. Maybe it would make sense to follow the natural course of a pick-up senario and begin with AA. Perhaps make it focused on a topic rather than a specific pick-up system. We could look into the different theories on the topic, compare and contrast systems, try some different techniques in the field, and then try to make some individual summaries about what we think works b…

While I agree that it probably shouldn't be sanctioned, I don't think that means that we should only use PUA material that is available for free. That would be far too limiting. Hmmmm. While I do think this dynamic holds true in certain social groups (under 25s), I can't say I see it as a general trend. I think women tend to take on an alpha role situationally, when it holds some clear benefit, not just to take it as a fixed position within the group... or they are elected to it. We just don't feel the same obligation to have someone fill the alpha role in the same way a group of men do. Actually, I think it's safest to say that the best looking woman in a group is the …

As far as bringing up the subject, I think the best way is to get the subject around to hot women. I think a good way to do this is to have a movie night and bring a hot flick with one of your (or her) favourite girls in it. If you like Jessica Alba, Honey is a downright awesome movie for this. There's tons of scenes to which you can remark "Damn, she's hot" and ask if she feels the same. Then maybe make it a bit more personal by discussing the hotness level and desirability of some girls you bo…

I think maybe you need to give a bit more detail. What kind of relationships are you looking for. Just sex? LTR? What specifically have you been doing to achieve that? How has it been working? Yea, in other words, post some FRs. Then you can get some specific feedback. I think when you're homosexual and trying to learn PUA, it's even more important than normal to be clear about what your goals are. You need to adapt the system to suit your needs more than a straight guy does. I would think even …

Hmm. One thing regarding your example, it's interesting how the 400-lb man has to put on a circus show to gain the attention the gym rat would by just acting like a normal person rather than a wall flower. Bad looks can be overcome, but they are disadvantage unless you do something about it.

Good post! I'd like to add something though that I think compliments being passionate and interesting, and thats: Be interested Pay the fuck attention to people. Texts are easily misconstrued. I don't like that text, she probably took it seriously. I agree. It's hard to read and a tough one for her to reply to. Is she supposed to take it seriously and suggest something? Even if she thinks it's a joke, what's a clever response? Eh, that's kinda hard. Sometimes people don't reply when you put too much pressure on them to be clever. I'll also throw in a plug for emoticons here. Touch women's arms. Start with something like resting your hand on her forearm when making a point in conversation. Women and gay men do it all the time, and women are open to it. While it's not sexual by itself, it's easy to escalate. Guys often go for the legs too quickly, start with the arms. My two cents anyway.

I think basic emotions are very useful tools of communication with women. Thanks! It was a bit rambling, but I'm glad I got my points across. While I'm certainly not an expert on what women want, there are some things I've experienced from both sides enough to feel quite sure about. I notice a lot of men/women agonizing over what women are thinking, if they are attracted, how they feel about you... when the real question to be looking at is how is she feeling about herself and her interaction with you.

I think you're problem might be not asking "big" enough, open-ended questions. Yes or no questions lead the conversation nowhere. When they answered your question, you should be asking them why they have that opinion and start a conversation. Tangents are a wonderful thing too. Don't be afraid to change the subject. If they say something that reminds you of a story, tell it. Also, it's important to escalate and change your relationship. If you were standing next to their table talking, ask to si…

For me, the seduction/pick-up stuff has most to do with learning to respect yourself and communicate with people (especially women) effectively. It's about understanding women and living up to our potential with them. But, I must also say that in it's essence, it's just another form of popular psychology, but a very effective one because it uses our desire for sex and intimacy as a motivator. Hmm probably better to ignore it than reply much later. When a girl successfully teases or burns me, I try to give her a little credit rather than sound defensive. Something like "That's pretty funny, maybe you should consider a career change :p" I would worry more about your overall presentation rather than every little detail of your interaction. One of her friends whispered to her quietly a comment along the lines of 'why don't you give those to your boyfriend?' Hmmm.... not to burst your bubble, this comment could go either way. I could see saying this to a friend sarcastically, like if some guy was being clingy and she didn't like him. But, it could also be cute. Depends on what her friend is like I suppose. I think, given the fact that there are a lot of grey areas here, you're pretty warm. They know guys are always up for it. I usually stay out of this discussion, but you actually just nailed part of the reason girls don't. Quite a few guys don't seem to understand the difference between "I'm interested in getting to know you better" and "I definitely want to sleep with you." Most girls feel like asking a guy out is akin to dropping her panties and saying "take me now!". I know not all guys are like that, and that's not the only reason, but it has an effect on how women behave.

As seddit's lesbian representative, I say just ask her out and see what happens. If she's not adopting some very stereotypical lesbian look, she shouldn't be offended and is probably used to it. The thing that pisses lesbians off is when guys don't stop their pursuit after hearing that you're gay. Quite a few guys only seem to get pushier and often creepy.... which is why I almost never say I'm lesbian as a rejection method. If she was interested wouldn't she be making an active effort to communicate with me if im not texting/calling her? Nope. Women are not that simple. When I don't talk to a girl for awhile, I start to 'lose interest' in her. Won't the same thing happen to her since the last date will start to lose it's freshness in her mind? Not necessarily. Using "If I, wouldn't she" logic is rarely correct.

One comment I read that really helped me with this asked something like "Do you remember the first words that were spoken when you met your friends and past lovers?" I know I don't for the most part... and that's because it really doesn't matter. I remember the conversation, not what opened it up. So, it really doesn't matter as long as you do it.

I think it's because in a gay guy/straight girl situation there's less sexual tension. My experience has been that almost all straight guys think they have at least a slight chance with a lesbian. And a lot of them will pursue that supposed chance. Whereas, it's only the occasional straight girl that will actively pursue a gay man. It makes for a different dynamic. With straight guys, I try to be as alpha as possible, but it's more a defensive thing.
/r/seduction27/11/10 07:01 AM
2

Yea, that's a good strategy. I try to do that, but still probably focus too much on other lesbians. Although, with straight guys, it's a bit different. They are either cool and gaming them would feel like cheating. (In a way, being lesbian is all the social proof I need and a big DHV.) Or they are dicks, in which case, I just want them to fuck off as soon as possible.

Learn something about that person Give the person a reason to escalate If she doesn't earn your interest, she will reject it Ask big, open questions not yes or no ones This sets your expectation and sets the tone for the interaction If she c…

Aw, thanks :) And, yea, we lesbians do love games.
/r/seduction26/11/10 05:02 AM

That's cool. :) I think it's a bit more memorable than a normal kiss. It's a bit more sexual too, and you are taking control of the situation instead of meeting her halfway.

I actually prefer clubs to bars. People are just more horny, and many are more in the mood to meet new people. Yea, they are even more noisy, but it's a great excuse for kino and positioning yourself in their personal space. Also, most places let people outside to smoke these days. This is a great opportunity to isolate a little and have a conversation. Even if you don't smoke, you can ask her to come outside for some fresh air and a chat.

I would say going in for the kiss is becoming my best move. As I just said in another post, I usually put my hand on the back of her neck or my hands around her face and pull her towards me. I think it's a strong, sexy, confident move and almost always turns out very well. While I do just go for it with the kiss, I also don't rush it either. EDIT: Another reason I like this is because if you've misjudged the situation and she resists, you can still exit gracefully. You'll feel her tension and yo…

As far as going for the kiss goes, I usually put my hand on the back of her neck or my hands around her face and pull her towards me. I like it because it's a strong, sexy move and she knows the kiss is coming. Sounds like you got there eventually, but next time you might do it on the first kiss.

Yea, sounds like you should have taken the girls back to your place for a little party. I probably would have just enthusiastically invited everyone, and just seen what became of the night. As the designated driver, you were in a good position to take the lead and make things happen. I'm no expert in this stuff, but whenever I'm in doubt about what to do in those types of situations, I just try to keep the party going and not worry about isolating so much. I try to keep her entertained and let h…

You probably aren't smiling and animated enough. You need a sparkle in your eye when you tease a girl. Practice your looks in the mirror. Learn to use memories of something funny or something sexy to trigger certain looks. You want to exaggerate your expressions a little; you're probably too subtle. You could even go so far as to take an acting class or an improv workshop. Push your limits.

You gotta get more positive, man. Seriously, snap out of it. Why do you assume she'll say no... she gave you her number, there's probably at least a 50/50 chance she's hoping you will use it. I'd just say something like "Hey, this is XX. It was great meeting you on XXday! :) Wanna grab drinks friday evening? How about 8 at XX?"

Just come up with something fun to do with her, and tell her to come with you. A tactical question here... When using this "come along" method to asking a girl out, it seems like you should be going with friends too. I mean often the first question she asks is "Who are you going with?". Well, I don't have a ton of friends, and it's especially hard to find ones that actually want to go out. It's easy enough to make some excuse or whatever for not going with anyone a couple times, but after a whil…

I think you're on to something there. I may be lesbian, but I'm still female and, now that I think about it, it is a huge motivator for me. To show your hand and say how you feel takes away the woman's ability to dream about you and how you might feel. It's a big part of the mystery. They/we like to play detective and figure things out. Women want you to be open with your feelings about them when they already think they have a good idea of what those feelings are. I think they don't want to be t…

The bad advice you've been hearing says that women want you to tell them how you feel. This is only true if they are already attracted to you. This is the key really. And I agree 100% that you should keep your mouth shut. But, I must contest a little bit about women not wanting to know you you feel... women always want to know, but this doesn't mean they always should know. Women are very curious creatures, especially when it comes to how people feel about them, much more so than men. Knowing ho…

But, here in Scandinavia, there are also quite a few blondes who have very little hair and it's soft, so they don't really need to shave. That's can be pretty hot actually. A-fucking-men! That should be our motto! I've seen almost all the angles of women's games, and have played many estrogen-driven games myself. They are many and varied, complicated and profound. Some are intentional, others just flow naturally. Women don't do it to be bitchy or mean, they do it to be playful and to find out if they can trust you* They want you to play back, but they don't want to feel like they are being played. Their game is more defensive than offensive though. They'll usually …

"hello I'm mpm4, what's your name?" When you've obviously got her attention, I almost always use this and with pretty good success. Here's an exercise that might help: When you are thinking to much about a particular topic (e.g. a girl) take 10-15 minutes and go crazy... write down everything you are thinking about her and go ahead an analyse it to death. Then when you are done, take that piece of paper throw it out or select all that text and delete it. As you do this think to yourself, "This is ALL bullshit. It means nothing. It does not represent reality." Then clear your mind and be done with it. I find this really helps…

This is inspiring, thanks. :) I agree with a lot of your points. I like the one you make about negs. It's not a technique I've had a lot of use for yet. (I don't often go after 9s and 10s. I really like my 8s.) But, I also suspect that it's somewhat less useful in girl-on-girl pick-up. Guys just neg, that's what they do. Whether it's picking up straight girls at male-dominated places or trying to score a bi chick at a lesbian place, it's really advanced game and you have to be good to not make an ass out of yourself. That being said, I wonder why guys would still want to go to gay places to pick up chicks at all. Fag hags are bitches and bi chicks are a dime a dozen at practically any bar anywhere these days.

Well, it's all just personal preference. So, I'll tell you what it is for me... The difference between a 7 and an 8 can't usually be seen in a photograph. It has to do with her facial expressions and her attitude. The way she moves and if she takes pride in herself. If she's got that sparkle in her eyes. And sometimes I can't even put my finger on it. Yea, I think you're right that it could be a bit different in the lesbian world. Paying can make it seem like you are trying to play the man, which is a turn off... or you just seem like a sucker. Also, I've never had the "buying her thing will make her like me" thing going on. I pay for my friends in the exact same way. I like to pay. If I was rich, I think I'd always pay. Well, I guess I stand corrected. :) I often make trades for drinks and that sort of thing, but that's not the same as paying. I can understand paying when two people have very different financial backgrounds though. But, I'm just a recovering compulsive "payer". I used to pay for almost everything, not cos I'm rich just generous, and it's been a hard habit to break... so the "no pay" rule is helping me right now. I think focusing on Wygant could be a good idea. He's the one I find most inspiring, and he is quite practical with his advice.

I usually send a text if I get no answer. It's easier to read a text than check voicemail. EDIT: I generally send a text before if I think it's a time of day when she's likely to be busy.

Ha, we want it ALL! That's why it's confusing. Don't stress though it's universal. Hell, I'm a lesbian and still don't have women figured out.

Yea, I'm pretty happy in spite of my fuck ups. Women can be pretty damn amazing and awesome sometimes. Nothing against you boys, but I'm so glad to be gay. ;)

Oh, it's embarrassing, but I'll tell you anyway... I was looking the other way and she suddenly says "here..." and hands me any empty beer bottle to get rid of. I tried to hand it back to her and to her friend were were with, but neither of them would take it back. We were only a few feet from the bar so I took a step over and put it down and then said something about just being polite... unlike her. I knew it was a shit test the second she did it, but just kind of panicked and really didn't kno…

Don't be bummed. You might not have blown it. It actually sounds like you did pretty good for your first one after an LTR. That's tough. Just pull that trigger next time you get the chance! Just let your body take over once you get to the making out stage. That's what I do anyway.

Check out the Amplified Heart album by Everything But The Girl. Sounds like what you might be looking for. Walking Wounded is also really good. You'll probably at least recognise their songs Missing and Wrong.

I don't agree that saying I don't want to have a certain type of personality means that I'm worried about what people think of me. I wouldn't want to be "that guy" because I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror and feel happy. It has nothing to do with other people.

So what's stopping you from using these methods on everyone to make them like you? Who says you only have to go after the hottest babes EVER? I didn't say that anything was stopping me or that anyone said I should do anything. My comments were meant to be specific and it seems you took them in general. Sorry if I was unclear.

No, I wouldn't describe it as "worried about what people think", it has to do with what sort of person I want to be. I care as much about being out there and having fun as I do how I feel about myself in the next morning. It's about being myself and pursuing the types of relationships I want... not just with the hot girls in the room, but with everyone. Like I won't play an asshole-type game because that's just not who I am. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but it just doesn't suit my st…

At the heart of her lies the same fear that lies in your heart, an existential emptiness which nothing has seemed to fill. What she is looking for is a real man who has conquered this fear, who has faced it and emerged victorious Great post. This point is actually quite profound.

The thing that bothers me about this is that I generally look at these gurus and think "Does this guy have what I want?", "Do I want to develop the same types of relationships with women as this guy does?", "Do I want his type of success?" And the answer to these questions when I see Mystery in action, I have to say no. I don't want to be that guy... who always gets a girl home but has half the room rolling their eyes. I find myself wondering how good his type of game is for developing deep attr…

I love David Wygant's philosophy to this whole thing. I love that video series you liked to. It's most excellent. And I love Wygant in general. He's actually what got me into this stuff much more than Mystery and the other more common names.

I'm looking forward to the replies on this one, but I think you've kind of answered your own question... you have to apply the same principles to dating as you do those other things. I try to remind myself that I've never gotten any better at anything without practicing and practicing includes failing. I think the failing hurts more with women because our ego and feelings get involved. But, just like anything else, success lies in picking yourself up again an moving forward.

God, this answer is so obvious when you hear it. She probably didn't even listen to the voicemail and just rang back whoever called. I do that all the time. Ha, but if a girl did it to me, I would worry about it like the OP. Why do I always miss the obvious when it comes to women? Sigh.

That's cool. What a great opportunity! My advice would be to learn something about women's shoes. Ask them what type of outfit she's going to wear the shoes with. That's a great question to get her to talk about herself. Try to be honest about what looks good and what doesn't, hopefully you have good taste or develop it. Notice women's shoes when your not at work and what looks good. Learn to make suggestions when some thing doesn't look right. Try to make the sale. Women are happy after buying …

OK. I'm not that experienced at this stuff and GF stealing is pretty advanced, but I'll give you my two cents since I took the time to read all that. :p Thanks for the FR, you have a good way of explaining what happened so it's helpful. About the line... Even though I'd probably say it myself. I'm not sure I like opening with "It's a shame...". It can be taken an admission of defeat and an assumption that she's not interested. If that's what you want, great (and maybe you could explain why more)…

Thanks. I think overall those are good and important The only one I think is perhaps less important is DHV, or at least you have to be very subtle with it, or I need to learn to be. I have even been accused of bragging. I know that's not what DHV is, but it can come off that way. I'm not very good at it. I think I do it a bit naturally with conversation and personal style, so sometimes if I try to do it consciously, I seem over the top.

Do you notice that women who exhibit behaviors associated with the traditional "alpha male" are the ones who get more women? Or are you saying that the alpha male/passive woman archetypes aren't exhibited in lesbian pickup? Basically, I'm saying that you see both. They are exhibited less, but I also see that they can be effective when they are. That's one reason I'm interested in pick-up. But, you also have to be especially careful with lesbians because if you come off too much like a guy, it's …

So I'm curious... in lesbian pickup circles, I would guess that the most frequent pickup-er is the "top", that would seem to be compatible with what happens in hetero pickup. So I'd guess that women who exude "bottom" get picked up more regularly. Is this right? In some cases, but you see a lot less obvious butch/femme, top/bottom stuff, where it would be most common, than you used to be. With pick-up roles, the rules are more subtle. Sometimes it's more like mutual pick-up. It's tough to explai…

I'm sort of realizing here that getting her to pick you up is actually rather advanced game. I just get to play it because girls do pick each other up, someone's got to or no one would hook up. But, that's not so say traditional roles don't reflect themselves in lesbian culture. The thing in my particular situation, is that why I don't look butch on the outside, I kind of am on the inside, and girls pick up on it and will lean toward expecting me to pick them up. I don't really like that because…

That's great. Thanks a lot. When it works for me, it's always when I've really gotten into the group dynamic and really got into being part of the fun. I think when someone sees you interact well with other people, you appear more attractive to them. I have good success with women 10-15 years younger than me, and it has a lot to do with being able to party and enjoy silly, often drunken, fun with them and their friends. It's not always easy. I have to remember to substitute some beers with red b…

Try thinking of something funny, don't laugh, just let yourself smile. It looks really natural. It matters most what you like when you make eye contact. That's what people remember. Unless you hang out together a lot, they don't really notice your default look because you're talking and interacting, and hopefully you're animated and engaged. That's the impression you make. Don't worry about it too much, just make sure you break your look when you make eye contact. It can be really subtle. Don't …
