I recently got out of a 'long term' relationship (6+ months)... and I think I'm DONE for a while.
I want to focus on my work, improve my health, fitness goals, work on businesses and myself etc.
But somehow I keep falling back into this routine/pattern where I seem to subconsciously be focused on filling the 'sex gap'. It literally feels a bit like this gaping hole and void, and I am swayed to it.
I'm back on Tinder, and I'm matching girls that are decent, but it's never enough. I want better... and it basically turns into this time consuming and never ending chase. I'm seriously thinking to just delete the app.
But I know if and when I do, I will just swap that behavior for doing day game or desiring to go the club. I don't even like clubs, I don't even drink... but I just get a bit consumed by the desire for physical release which only gets more pent up the more I lift, and the more I work etc.
A friend suggested 'just paying for it'. I have no issues with that, but to be honest that is also quite time consuming and feels a bit hollow, most of the time. It also feels like a never ending chase.
So what is the best 'red pill' approach to this? I almost wish I could just be celibate and learn to 'transmute' the energy into my work. Now, I know that 'monk mode' is an option... and maybe it's something I do need to go through because of exactly how uncomfortable that makes me. I'm already /nofap but I just seem to fill it up with real women instead, and whether paid or not, it's still a time consuming process.
Today I started wondering, maybe I have a problem? Maybe it's sex addiction? Or maybe I just haven't found the right strategy/philosophies to handle this. I imagine not having access to women would be worse... but same time, not that i'd be happier per se, but I actually feel that I may be more productive if I was living on a farm or something...
So what is the solution here? Maybe there's someone who has written extensively on this topic, if so I would appreciate any links or suggestions...
(as a side note I already lift, read, meditate, work etc... all that jazz. But I am just acutely aware of how much time and value I still place on beautiful women and sexual hedonism... and it seems to be at conflict. Or at least feels that way... does anyone else feel this way? And if so, what is the solution?
I appreciate any of your thoughts / suggestions / advice on this topic.
