On the week preceding New Years Eve I learned that if you are "spinning plates" to make up some excuse why you can't bring someone along. Girls still want to feel like they are the only one you're seeing. I blew through one relationship and maybe a second one. Woops! And to top it off the girl I hoped on seeing had work so I went dateless. Regardless she is a sure thing, just a matter of time and logistics. She could also be the end of this PUA run (gasp). Anyway--

A friend of mine was throwing a "Fancy" New Years party. Which ended up a complete failure with a total of five guys and my friend's fiancée, who is also a blackhole for fun as her energy level lasts for one or two hours. Don't get married. But the fun of having girls who are friends is they have girls who are friends; at 11:20 my friends and I headed off to someone else's party.

It was only a short walk, and we walk in at 11:30. The person throwing the party, Samantha (HB6), greets us at the door. I give a sort of power hand shake (hand on arm, other hand shaking hers), a smile and my name. Got to get kino going right away. Touchy-feely guy mentality.

We walk upstairs and take off our jackets. Here's my only mistake of the night, and it is a lesson well learned. My friend Juan looks at me and says "shots?" Despite already having a bottle of wine and a couple glasses of champagne and some vodka, I'm not quite drunk as I've built a tolerance to alcohol over the last couple of days. We have four shots each in a row. Ugh ugh ugh ugh.

The house is crawling with HBs with barely any other guys. An excellent ratio to say the least. Within five minutes me and my two friends are approached by two ladies (HB6/7) who introduce themselves. We're all wearing suits when all the rest of the guys are in jeans. Dressing out of the ordinary gets you noticed. Although I bet we looked like the gentlemen of Stella. I sort of blew this set. They asked me who I knew and I told them I just strolled in off the street (jokingly). Then went on to say the guy I met 45 minutes earlier I knew for 4 years. Went on to over neg and disqualify (maybe, actually disqualified as opposed to false), made fun of their names (probably a no-no) and then proceeded to turn my back to them and talk to my friend instead. I've recently had a make them chase me mentality and I took it way too far with this one. Need to follow it up with some kino, and maybe some moderate politeness as opposed to blatant rudeness early on.

After a few minutes I scurry to the kitchen and there is some beer pong going on. My friend and some guy he met are running the table. My AA is fucking awful. But a girl asks my name. Now the HB status here is questionable as the alcohol begins to set in. From behind an HB-9. Then she faces me she's an HB-7 and my friend confirms that she might very well have been a 5. We end up playing a couple of games of pong together, of course I tell her she's terrible at it. High fives, hand on her back for some lightish kino. Somebody had the awful idea of vodka shots followed up with chocolate syrup. She says she wants a shot so I pour her one and squirt the chocolate into her mouth. She holds her hands out with some chocolate accidentally smeared on her fingers. I look her in the eyes and suck her fingers. She thought it was hilarious and somehow I got away with it. We step off to the side and I negg her some more as I put my arm around her back, she reciprocates. We banter some more, laugh and so on. This was all done in maybe 20 or so minutes. I leave to go dance. In retrospect I should have grabbed her hand and directed her with me. Maybe this showed willingness to walk away but it would have been an easy K-close.

At the dance floor (aka living room) I walk in and start dancing. A guy friend of mine is there. We sort of dance half-awkwardly but I eventually am grinding with a couple of girls. Things start to get fuzzy. I find myself grinding with HB6 Samantha and we end up kissing/making out.

Friend and his fiancée along with his brother are heading out and I decide to go as all the alcohol is extremely catching up with me. I'm very disappointed with myself for drinking so much and ruining what was really an easy ONS. And I forgot to get any numbers, woops.

Although did leave my suit jacket there so I'll be going back . . .

I learned to be the life of the party. Have a great time. Aggressiveness works. Don't be too rude, especially when girls open you, your perceived status is the same or you're higher. Alcohol is evil, no more getting drunk and sarging.
