So i'm basically a 23yo aussie AFC without much action since my LTR a few years ago. Well for the last few months i've been reading seddit and not taking any action. Tonight I hit the town for a friends birthday dinner, knowing full well that a few people would kick on to the clubs afterwards. I dressed my best and went in armed with the knowledge of recent 'shit test' threads and a whirlwind of other advice from /r/seduction.

Skipping the boring bits, I ended up at a very small club with a bunch of friends. One is a natural (but has skimmed some PUA material and knows the game) and the other was a try hard AFC like me. He was essentially winging us both and intro'd me to a HB8 along with one of his mates (a local radio DJ). After the quick intro the HB8 was pretty touchy on her way past and I figured she was at least semi-keen.

While the two of them messed around I sat down chatting to some others I knew, observing the douchebags on the D-floor, hating clubs and generally wishing i had the confidence to do something.

Roughly an hour had passed since arriving and I'd had enough drinks (liquid courage), and I figured I may as well go get rejected by some chicks for practice. I find my friends and start AFC dancing (yeah i suck, drunk, dont care). The HB8 from earlier was around and starts dancing with me. I do my best for a bit and end up pashing her (shortly after). Over the next 10 mins I dance as best I can and in hindsight am probably over keen for some more make out action. She rejected a few times and I got a bit of tounge eventually. She moved on and after a while I returned to my seat with a "Fuck Yeah" atitude.

Sure, I "failed" in terms of pick up. But it was a huge confidence booster for someone that has never tried this kind of stuff before. Next time I will focus more on the dancing, trying to build some more attraction before trying something.

Overall I think I got really lucky. Didnt really speak much, did some pathetic dancing, got a bit if kiss action thanks to A) being OK looking B) being previously introduced by a friend. I then fucked up by being over keen for the kiss. Next time it'll be more about the seduction, being alpha etc.

tl;dr First FR, first attempt at pickup. Went to a tiny club after reading seddit. Danced and made out with a chick I was introduced to. Failed by being over keen for more kissing. Dont give a shit, win in my books.
