This is more of a mechanical sticking point than anything. So suppose you've done the requisite opening and flirting and met a girl that is genuinely interested in going out with you (at least at the moment). Now you're on to step II: ask them out and show them a good time.

Only problem: you're a busy professional with a lot of stuff going on in your life and you really need to plan your date nights as far in advance as possible. To make matters worse, you prefer to go out with women who are just as busy as you.

You look at your schedule and both Monday and Wednesday seem to work, so you plan on Monday only to find out she can't make it for whatever reason. How do you ask her out again on Wednesday while still saving face?
