So I've [18M] been talking to this girl [17F] for around a year now on and off. We used to snap a lot last summer and I kinda started to like her. I still feel the same about her now (but to a lesser degree), but I'm more confident in myself and comfortable with girls so I'm running on that abundance mentality and I'm just more of an Alpha in general. Recently I manned up and got her number over snap, and she gave it completely willingly despite my goofy but confident way of asking (ask if you want yo know what exactly I said, excluding it because it's not relevant)>

So most of the time we're running two different convos: one on Snap and one over Text. I'm not clingy, so I'll leave her hanging for hours at a time most of the time and reply whenever I feel like it, and so does she. The problem is that I can't exactly read her; I've gotten the joking "I HATE YOU" and "Ur so annoying," and those types of comments, but always after I tell a joke, so I know she's not serious. Recently though (over text) she said something about me being annoying but after a joke once again. Just to change it up, should I tell her something like "If I'm so annoying, why do you always text me?" or "Then maybe you can find someone else to annoy you, bye bye." If not either of those exact phrases, what exactly should I saY? Thanks for reading.

*TL;DR*: Been texting a girl, relatively successful, keeps saying things jokingly like "Ur so annoying," do I be abrasive and either question why she texts me or tell her to text some other guy?
