A girl found me online last summer on Facebook and emailed me. She was cute so I emailed back with my phone number, and we began texting, but her texting became very erratic and sporadic. Like she would text me to ask how I was doing, I'd say I was fine and ask how she was, and then get no answer till maybe the next day. As such I never contacted her, but only ever replied when she contacted me, because I believe in never sending another text if the last one didn't get a response.

Sometimes a month or two would go by and I'd have forgotten about her, but then she'd either text me again or mail me on Facebook. I frequently let her know that I would like to meet her in person, even if just for a few minutes (just to see if I found her as attractive in person as she appeared online), but she's always been evasive about it, saying every guy ends up hurting her, or just wants to fuck her and move on. I don't think she's not the girl in her photos or anything like that though, as she has lots of friends and hundreds of photos of her by herself and hanging out with them over the years.

Eventually I got tired of this and decided that rather than only respond when she would contact me, I'd just try ignoring her altogether to see what happened. I figured either she'd go away completely (which would be fine, since I've never met her anyway), or she'd ask what happened. Well after about two weeks of ignoring her texts (and she only sent maybe 5-10 in that time), she sent me a Facebook message asking if there is any particular reason I'm ignoring her texts.

My only goal is simply to meet her in person, even if we just share a cup of coffee and that's all, and if she's never going to do that then I'd just as soon never hear from her again (cause what's the point?). Got any suggestions on what I should do? Keep ignoring her and let that be the end of it? Respond with a "meet me or don't contact me again" ultimatum of sorts? Something else? As you can probably tell, I'm fairly new at this.
