Again I went out tonight. I warmed up at a language exchange as is usual for me. When I arrived there was no one there. I guess there was a big football (soccer for you yanks) match and everyone was watching it. I considered leaving and I almost did but a voice inside me said "this is how it is done so stick it out". I got a beer and stood alone near the entrance of the bar. Within 5 minutes one of the girls who ran the language exchange walks up and opens me. She asked if I remember her (this is a running theme ... I need to work on my memory) and I say no. She reminds me of the conversation we had 3 weeks ago. I notice that not only is she a HB7.5 (maybe even an 8) but she is exactly my favorite type. Do you have a type of girl you like best (looks wise)? This girl fit the description almost perfectly except she is taller than me. I can hardly believe I didn't notice. We have a good conversation for about 25 minutes. She is obviously very timid but she has an interest related to my home town so she is happy to keep up a conversation with me. I try some incidental kino and she reciprocates occasionally. Soon though people show up for the language exchange and she has to go back to work. She introduces me to an older couple and gets back to work. I chat with them for quite a while and then two HB6's show up. One of them is really into me - giving me strong eye contact and a couple of touches. She is standing very close to me as well. My friend wants to leave to another language exchange so I excuse myself. I go to say goodbye to HB7.5 and say I hope to see her next week at the exchange. She tells me there is a party on Friday where I can see her again and I say "I'm usually busy Fridays but definitely next Wednesday".

We go to another language exchange and this place is very much a pick-up kinda joint. My friend spots and Italian girl and her Spanish friend he has met previously and we join their table. He disappears and I chat them up - the Spanish girl is HB6 and the Italian is HB6.5. The Italian HB6.5 girl isn't interested in me but Spanish HB6 is giving me all her attention. My friend brings over another girl HB6.5 and the 5 of us chat for a while. I'm getting a bit bored with it but finally we leave to meet my roommate and some of his friends.

The Spanish and Italian girls take a metro home and the HB6.5 my friend found doesn't want to come to the clubs we are going to. He leaves with her although she made it clear she has a boyfriend ... I doubt he got anywhere but I'll ask. I enter the club with my roommate and 4 guy friends of his. I miss the 5 minute rule but make up for it when my roommate points at some girl and says "ask her if she speaks English". I get blown out pretty bad when she answers: "I don't speak English, I don't speak Spanish, for you I don't speak any language". Haha - it was actually pretty awesome. A few minutes later I open a blond HB6 after my roommate sends me in again and she is quite into it. But my roommate and his friends are actually kinda chickens. They don't enter after I've opened the set. She is giving me huge IOI's, touching me and even thrusting me with her hips. Eventually I basically walk away from her and try and open one of her friends but she just wags her finger in my face. The guys aren't having luck opening any sets so they want to leave.

We spot another bar and walk towards it. 3 girls are sitting on the window sill outside and again my roommate sends me after them. I open them with ease. It was actually pretty sweet. They were really into being opened. One HB7 and two HB6's, all from Sweden. I chat with them for 5 mintues and again most of my buddies just walk away. One guy stays and watches me chat the girls up but I decided to leave them and he says to me as we walk in "Damn man, you are good". I say "I know". At this point I have a really good frame.

Inside the bar I spot a HB7 and walk up and open her with no hesitation. Again, she was totally into it. She gave me a lot to work with. Smiled, answered my questions with energy. I thought my friends might have left so I did a quick tour and found them again standing staring at girls and not opening. I saw the HB7 watching me from the corner of her eye but I didn't reopen her. The 3 Swedish girls come inside and my mates pounce on them. One guy who I would have assumed was alpha grabs the HB7 and escalates way to quickly. She ran away. He says to me "ask her to take a picture with me". No problem. I reopen them and they are still very comfortable with me. I convince her to take the photo (took some sweet talking) and my buddy is happy.

We left the bar soon after. Outside are 4 more girls, HB6.5 Italians from Venice. I'm in frame and opening them is easy. Their friend inside is trying to cock-block us by banging on the window and insisting they come inside. Two of them go inside but the other two stay to talk with me. I'm telling stories and getting good response but once again my mates want to leave. The guy I figured was alpha tries a bold move: invite them back to our place to have some drinks. I can see them consider it - I mention we have a terazza with a good view. The girl inside is still banging on the window. The girl giving me the most attention says: "She will get mad if we go" and I respond "Is she your boss?". I had already made that joke when she started banging and she responds "she thinks she is the boss". I hold her eye contact for a while but I see resignation come across her face and I know I'll be going home alone.

On the way home all the guys gave me respect for my ability to fearlessly and effectively approach and open. It was a good night even though I once again didn't close. It was one of the first time I've opened so successfully at clubs. I even got properly blown out! But one blow out is nothing compared to 4 successful opens. I know one-itis is a curse but I really hope to move things forward with the HB7.5 from the language exchange. Not sure if I should go to the party on Friday or wait until next Wednesday. I am definitely going for a number close on her.

Sorry for the long post but lots happened. One thing I learned is having a place to warm up and get into frame before the bars is a huge help. The other is that if you are in frame and you approach with no hesitation and decent energy then opening is really easy.
